Nine

After breakfast, Alec walked Beatrix to the throne room as she focused on her stilettos clicking on the stone floor.
They walked to the doors and Alex opened them to show the kings.
"Good morning Beatrix, I hope you slept well," said Aro.
"I did," said Beatrix as she lied to stop everyone from worrying about her.
"Come here," said Caius.
She walked toward him causing butterflies to erupt in her stomach.
"You will stand by me and will keep your mouth shut," said Caius.
"Ok," said Beatrix.
She stood next to him "Brother she has emotions" said Aro.
Caius looked at her as he wished he could pull her onto his lap and show her off to the vampires that were on trial today.
She looked at him before looking at the doors to see Demetri and Felix pull a male vampire into the throne room as he fought and tried to rip off his hands so he could avoid his fate.
"Gerard Tre you were reported to be publicly killing humans.
For that your punishment is death" said Aro.
Suddenly the vampire looked at her.
She looked at him as his eyes went black.
Suddenly his hand was around her throat causing her to freeze.
He suddenly bit her causing her to cry out.
Suddenly the vampire was thrown across the room as Caius lost all control.
"How dare you touch her!!" he roared before tearing the man apart.
Beatrix fell to the floor as the venom started to spread.
Aro rushed to Caius and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"She needs you," Aro said.
Caius looked at Beatrix as the venom took over her.
This was his fault.
He was supposed to keep her safe and now she was going to turn.
He wanted her to turn but from his venom not some man that wanted to rip her in two.
He rushed to her and held her in his arms as she screamed.
"Alec!" Cause roared.
Alec rushed to Caius.
"Numb her" said Caius as he watched her struggle.
He couldn't handle it.
Seeing her in pain made him fill with rage because he could have prevented this.
He looked at her neck to see blood pouring into the marbel ground.
Alec's vapour came over her as Caius moved so he didn't take in Alec's gift.
"I could have stopped this" Caius said.
"You saved her brother, if you weren't as quick as you were her heart would no longer beat," said Aro.
"I was supposed to be the one to turn her, don't try and make me feel better brother," said Caius.
"When she turns the bond will build and you will no longer get the gift of being able to avoid her," said Marcus.
Caius looked at her "Beatrix almost died!
Do you think I care about the bond brother!" Cause roared as he showed how guilty and angry he felt.
"Masters, Beatrix won't feel a thing now," said Alec.
"Thank you, Alec," said.
Caius rushed to Beatrix and picked her up like a bride before running to their chambers.
He kicked the door open and placed her on the bed.
"I will not leave you, I promise I will not fail you again," Caius said before getting a book so he could read beside her paralyzed body as the venom changed everything innocent about her.
