Y/N's POV
Well I got out of bed and got ready for school today.
After I slipped my clothes on and put my backpack on.
I left for school walking the whole way since I live close.
My friend Jenny was the only one to walk with me this morning for some reason.
She and I talked about the upcoming exams and how hard they'll be.
I was fine with that but when she talked about prom that's when I wasn't.
Every year in highschool we have a big prom where everyone is invited.
But I have never had a date so I never went since only couples could go.
I was the only kid who never got to go a single year because no one likes me.
But what stung the most was that everyone would talk about it and get extra credit for going.
And every year that passes the more I get made fun of for not going.
Of course Jenny asked if I was going and I said no I never can.
She was disappointed and said that if I looked better I would get a date.
That really pissed me off she's my friend why would she say that to me? Especially my face?
I ran off from Jenny in anger and I could hear her laughing joking.
And I know Jenny enough that when she's laughing like that she wasn't joking about what she said.
I ran over to the school and raced over to the cafeteria for breakfast all it cost was twenty five cents today.
I looked at my friends and they we're all sitting with Jenny so I reluctantly sat over by them.
Eww why do you smell like a sweaty group of goth boys who hang out at the cemetery real late Sarah said making a puking noise.
I forgot to take a shower last night okay sorry I will get one tonight I promise I said crossing my fingers and Sarah was fine after that.
Johnny my most loyal friend didn't really mind and said yeah sometimes you miss a shower because your busy.
He's always able to understand me and give me backup and stuff like that.
The bell ringed and I got up with my stuff and left for class at that moment.
When I felt a tap on my shoulder and looked behind me it was Glenn who tapped me with Jerry and Von beside him.
They said hi and we all got so happy that we actually go to the same school as each other.
And better yet we are in the same grade and Von who goes by Doyle said we actually have most classes together.
I never knew I mean they stick out so much I can't believe that I haven't noticed them before after all of this time.
We walked together to first class just making small talk about what we like and stuff that goes on.
When the sudden I heard laughing behind me so all four of us turned around and just as I suspected it was Jenny.
Why are you hanging out with such goths who must be seniors is someone being a horny little whore? Jenny said
My face went red I mean why would she even think that about me why is she being so mean today?
What's the problem Jenny you have friends that I'm not friends with so why can't I have some besides you don't even know them! I spat.
She called Sarah over and pointed to the goth trio as jenny calls Glenn and them and said see that Sarah that's the problem.
Sarah just wore a blank expression on her face not having a clue what is happening.
How are they the problem their just talking? Sarah asked Jenny.
There due to the stink this morning jenny sneered looking at Glenn the hardest.
Who cares they are just hanging out with your friend and you didn't know like they don't know that you hang out with Cypress Sarah spit.
Sarah walked up to Glenn and cupped his cheeks since he was the only one she could reach telling Jenny to leave if she has a problem.
I told Sarah thank you because Jenny has been acting like this all morning and I hate it so I'm glad she stepped in to help.
And all five of us now after that big fight finally got to go to class and we arrived right before the tardy bell ringed.
Talk about saved by the bell am I right!
