???'s POV

Watching the Kalos League competitors battling against each other in various matches they all looked strong along with their Pokemon. It's clear that they've raised them to perfection.

From love, power, their bonds of friendship, and most importantly... Connection. Just like my Gardevoir, we're both in sync which is why we've never lost a battle in a long time since I became the champion.

But there was one competitor that outshined the rest... Suzuki Y/N... Though the name sounds familiar to me because his last name matches up with Cynthia. Regardless of that, he managed to defeat all of the other competitors for him to make it to the finals.

That was until he passes through the finals and now all that's left for him is to challenge the Kalos Elite Four members, I hope he makes it...

Suddenly, the sound of high heels startled me and I was surprised to see Cynthia entering the cafe, she has that warm smile of hers, and she waved to me before taking a seat in front of me.

"Hey, Cynthia, what brings you here?" I curiously asked her.

"Oh, I wanted to stop by and chat with you a little bit." She answered me and I chuckled.

"You surely are strange sometimes. Is it about the Trainer Suzuki Y/N?" I asked her.

"Perhaps, he does take my interest and he displays a battle style that I've never seen before. Not only that he managed to defeat IU herself and become the winner of the Pokemon-Kpop World Tournament." She answered me and I was surprised.

"Really? Is that so?" I asked her and she nodded.

"I warned her but she underestimated him which is why she lost." She replied to me.

"I see, by any chance are you related to him?" I curiously asked her and she giggled.

Raising an eyebrow, she reminded me of the time her son who was at least 7 years old wanted to become a trainer and one day challenge us to a battle someday. Recalling the time at one of the ball parties we attended, I was shocked to see how much different Y/N looked compared to his younger years.

The last time I interacted with him he was just a little boy but today he's nearly conquered all of the Pokemon Leagues in the world. Guess I'll be battling him.

Looking at the view down below the stadium, Y/N's Mega Charizard defeated Mega Heracross using a super-effective flamethrower attack knocking it out of the fight.

"Heracross is unable to battle! Thus the victory of this match goes to Suzuki Y/N!" The referee confirmed and the people cheered.

"He's good..." I commented and she chuckled.

"He's more than good... He's nearly at the same level as me. Reminds me of his father when he was his age. That's why not even the strongest Trainers could defeat him." She replied to me.
