Chapter 2

Makoto's POV. Sometime after Tohka appeared.

It's been months since we've been dealing with the Spirits.

Apparently, Shido has the power to seal a Spirit's Power by giving them a kiss.

As for me, they analyzed my Angel and it is an Anti-Spirit weapon. A sword capable of nullifying the powers of a spirit. It's kinda contradictory that I am a half-spirit and my powers are to counter a spirit's ability. They called it Azrael, named after the Angel of Death.

Because of that, I've been deployed with Shido to the ground in order to protect him.

So far, we finally knew four spirits.

First is Tohka, known as the Princess. Her Angel is Sandalphon, a broadsword capable of unleashing energy slashes, mostly offensive.

Next is Yoshino. Codename: Hermit. Capable of creating ice and making her puppet, Yoshinon, into a giant monster that aids her in battle. I had a hard time fighting her as I am not used fighting giant beasts. Her Angel is Zadkiel, which is the giant puppet.

Third is Tokisaki Kurumi. Codename: Nightmare. Her Angel, Zafkiel, is a musket gun that controls time itself. She was branded as the Worst Spirit due to how she consumed many people. Apparently, her powers doesn't work on me as I am under the constant protection of Azrael.

We failed to seal her as she is difficult to catch.

Then, the latest spirit that we met......is none other than Kotori herself. Codename: Efreet. Her Angel, Camael, is a Halberd is capable of summoning flames that either burn or heal (allies). One of the most destructive Angels that I saw.

The day of the spacequake that happened 5 years ago, that is the day where Kotori became a spirit.

Now that I knew their story........

It seems like there are some cases where humans became spirits. In my case, I was a born both a spirit and a human. I am a special case.

But as of now, we continued living our ordinary. Kotori made an apartment just beside their own house.

But they also decided to hang out in our home, and my Dad was somehow happy that our house became lively.

Also, during that time, we've been investigating about the AST, the organization that is assigned to kill spirits.

Tobiichi Origami is a part of this organization. What I know of her is she is the top student of Raizen High, and she's been.....stalking Shido for quite some time. No wonder why they always want me to by Shido's side because of that.

But......all this time.........

I've been searching for one person.

Izayoi Miku.

I don't know what happened to her. I tried searching for her in the internet but nothing came out of it.

Although, I heard about an idol named Tsukino Yoimachi, but when I searched for that name, all the pictures are gone and all available info about her is also gone.
