A/N: Ilsadora and Maldeena/Magdalena.^^
"How did you find all of that out?!" Viviana demanded, feeling like she was losing her grip on reality.
Isabelle could not possibly be correct. She was in a coma for months, for Latsyr's sake! An enchanted coma, but a coma all the same.
There is no way, that woman is my mother. If nothing else, how did Isabelle find all of this out when the person involved is allegedly dead?
Isabelle blinked slowly, her hand clinging to Viviana's arm, like it was the only thing grounding her to the Earth.
"Dream worlds have alternate rules. I wanted to know the truth, so I asked for it. I even spoke to Glinda myself. She was very willing to share her viewpoints on the world, along with admitting to her actions."
Viviana's eyes met Preisha's. "Pienso que la Princesa realmente es loca." [I think the Princess really is crazy.]
"En realidad? Entonces yo soy loco también." [Really? Then I am crazy too.] Preisha tilted her head, studying Isabelle. "Le creo." [I believe her.]
"I wasn't asking if you believed her. She believes she's telling the truth. I meant, there's no way she's right. There's no way she could talk to someone who's dead."
"And there's supposed to be no way to take a witch or warlock's powers, yet here we are." Preisha rolled her green eyes, almost mockingly.
Viviana didn't have any reply for that.
But it did remind her that Maldeena was technically still suspended above them and unable to use her powers.
Viviana gave the Snow Queen a questioning look, and Ilsadora sighed.
"If that is your way of asking if I believe her, I do. I killed Glinda in exactly the way she described, with Alistaire at my side. No one else was there. Although I am curious to know more about this supposed dream world..."
Isabelle leaned forward, nearly tumbling out of Viviana's grip. "Of course! I will happily tell you all... I know."
Concern bubbled for the Princess. Viviana knew the Princess was suffering, but she still had no idea how to remove the curse.
As if sensing Viviana's emotions, Isabelle patted her on top of the head.
"You can let Maldeena down now, and give her her powers back. We need them."
Preisha groaned in Viviana's head. "Do we really have to? It was so much work to stick her up there."
"What are you talking about? All you did was shoot fireballs at her."
"So?" Preisha's nose twitched as Viviana forcefully pushed the magenta outline back into Maldeena with maroon telekinesis.
Maldeena fell toward the floor, catching herself with magenta magic before she crashed.
"Thank you." She mumbled, sounding nothing short of dazed. Viviana didn't blame her. Isabelle had given them a lot of information in a short amount of time, and none of it was easy to handle.
Speaking of the Princess, Viviana felt anxiety flood her senses, her pulse spiking, when without warning, Isabelle swooned sideways, her blue eyes rolling up in her head.
"Isa!" Viviana caught her before she fell very far, but now the Princess was a deadweight. Before, Isabelle had only been leaning on her, unable to completely support her own weight. Now, it seemed like she'd fallen unconscious.
Viviana carefully guided Isabelle to the floor, as Maldeena dropped to her knees with Ilsadora. All enmity and doubts were forgotten for a moment, as a witch of chaos, a witch of darkness, and a formidable enchantress were united in their concern for one ailing Princess.
