Eraser could feel the tension in the air. The blood on the walls was morphing. He can't even remember what he did. It hurt. Everything hurts. His body ached all over, and he felt like he was about to throw up. Shit. He felt lightheaded, and his wrists hurt like hell.
"..."
His stomach hurt. It was morphing. It was floating. Eraser didn't know how to describe it. The door suddenly swung open. He heard screaming and crying, he wanted to throw up. Someone picked him up and ran somewhere. The ground was soft. Eraser was tired, yawning as he felt his eyelids get heavier. All he heard was static, and shiny things were floating above him. Butterflies danced on flowers and everything was confusing. Time wasn't a thing.
Eraser woke up with a jolt. The walls were... white. And he was in a bed. A soft beeping noise could be heard.
"..."
That's when someone walked in. Pen, to be exact. He immediately embraced Eraser into a hug, holding on to him tight. That's when Eraser started to remember. He took a knife and sliced his wrist open, and Pen drove him to the ER. Eraser also remembered Blocky, who was sitting next to him, trying to stop the bleeding. Every time he started to drift off, Eraser could feel someone gently shaking him awake again.
Eraser was... wrong.
He thought that no one cared.
That no one would notice that he was gone.
But he was wrong.
His friends broke into his house after looking at his Instagram story, which was filled with Eraser giving thanks to those close to him, and saying goodbye.
His friends took him and drove him to the hospital. They made sure that Eraser stayed awake, no matter what.
His friends fought.
They fought for him.
Eraser choked out a raspy sob, wrapping his arms around Pen. They didn't say anything. They just sat on the bed, clinging to each other.
Blocky walked in with a doctor by his side. Pen got off the bed, and Eraser quietly whined. Soon his mom also entered the room, trailing behind the doctor.
Eraser gulped. Blocky softly smiled at him, tenderly rubbing circles onto Eraser's palm with his rough fingers. Eraser smiled back.
His mom explained plans with the doctor. Eraser was supposed to be on watch at the hospital for three more days to keep an eye on his health. A blood transplant was going to happen tomorrow, which made Eraser shiver. He hated needles.
Then, he had to go home, since mental hospitals cost a bunch. When his mom was at work, Eraser had to stay with Blocky and/or Pen, and couldn't be alone at all. Not like Eraser minded. Instead, the thought of having his friends caring for him was... exciting. Eraser didn't receive a bunch of attention and soaked it all up every chance he got.
He smiled.
Maybe he can finally feel okay for once.
