Ryders pov:

As i ran towards the light, my heart started to race. What if i was too late, what if i was the result of her death... what if!

"Lillie!" I yelled, Chase running next to me.

I heard a creak above us and i grabbed Chase.  I had just moved us out of the way, when a big piece of metal and glass fell where we was just stood.

"Thanks Ryder!" Chase smiled, wagging his tail but i didnt take in his compliment. Its not that i wasn't greatful, my mind was just focused on one thing. Lillie.

I grabbed Chase, not wanting him to risk his life again,  and made my way forwards towards the rapidly flashing red light.  A rush of worry flashed in my face, she had had a near death experiance before and it was my fault...

"Lillie, lillie want to play football with me on the front garden!" I yelled, happily picking up our only football. It was nearly flat, but it would do the job!

"Of course Ryder! I need to work on my skill!" She ran towards me, trying to dodge all the empty beer cans that were left there from mum and dads morning beer session.

"I bet i will beat you!" I yelled, opening the door. 

We stood on the front warming  up, and waving hi to our neighbours!

"Pass the ball!" She asked, getting ready to kick it. I kicked it hard, but she missed it. It went straight into the middle of the road.

"Dont worry, ill get it!" She laughed, running into the road. Fear flashed in my eyes as a car came speeding down the road knocking her down to the floor. They drove off as me, and some neighbours ran into the road. It was normal that our parents would care and the neighbours knew that! I love them, they're like family, theyre always here for us and everything!

"Lillie, lillie wake up please!" I sobbed, hearing the sound of an ambulance. 

Kelly, our neighbour, pulled me into a hug and let me cry into her top.

"She'll be okay, little Ryder! How about you help me make something for when shes better?" Kelly asked, helping me up from the floor. I smiled at her and we stayed at her side until she got taken in an ambulance.

"She will be okay, right?" I asked, clutching Kelly's arm for dear life

"Of course!" Kelly coughed, i knew she was poorly so whalst Lillie is in the hospital i will look after her.

A couple hours later, Kelly gets a call from the hospital.

"Ryder, Lillie is okay. She only ended up being knocked out for a while, so she will have a headache! She also broke her arm!" Kelly coughed again, dropping the phone. 

That was the day my sister nearly died... and it was the day old Kelly died. She died at age 25, so she wasnt even that old! She had a really bad illness for almost all her life and it was a miracle that she suvived past 18.

I ran over to Lillie,  Chase in my arms.

"Lillie?" I whimpered, hoping she was okay!

"R..ryder?" She gasped, and i sat next to her.

"Ryder, im getting crushed i cant breath, Ryder please help me" she cried, i knew i wasnt going to let her down! I grabbed one side of the sediment and Chase grabbed the other side.

"One, two, lift!" I controlled, us all lifting the sediment.

Chase grabbed Lillie as i held the sediment, we had freed her!

I grabbed my puppad, and contacted skye. She was already in her helicopter so she could help us!

"Skye, bring your helicoptdr here! Lillie is litterlly about to collapse!"

"Ruff on it Ryder!" She replied as we heard her helicopter land overhead.

"Chase, you go with Lillie, and tell skye to come fetch me after!"

"Yes Ryder!" He smiled.

As i watched yhem fly away, i couldnt help but feel something else was wrong... like i was in danger. But i wasnt, i dont think! I waited fir skye to come back and then i felt a jolt. I fell towards the massive gap.

Oh no.

Lillies pov:

As we flew down to the ground, i lost feeling in my legs! I was going to die for sure!!

"Lillie, were nearly at the ground! Ill fetch Ryder when your down!" Skye explained, as we landed infront of the what used to be a tall building. Now it was mostly rubble and sediment oh and glass!

I laid down on the floor, so Marshall could use the xray to see if i was okay.

I watched as skye dodged sediment, and then we all heard a creak... like ehen it collapsed for the first time! I panicked and sat up, my feeling coming back to my legs.

"You have a broken leg, and some broken ribs but other than that you will be fine!" He replied as i stood up.

I ran to the middle of the road where Chase started to stop traffic.

I watched Skye come down, and i felt a relief. He was okay!

"Skye" i ran over, seeing Ryder wasnt there...

"Skye, where is Ryder!" I cried, not getting an answer.

"Skye, where the FUCK is Ryder!" I screamed, seeing a scared look in Skyes eyes.

"Im sorry,  i couldnt find him!" Skye answered.

We all looked up, after hearing the loudest creak and half the structure was falling down! I grabbed Skye and the others and we made our way inside out of harms way.

"Thankyou!" Skye replied,

"Rubble, Chase come with me!" I cried  running outside.

"Skye, look after the citizens!"

Me, Rubble and Chase ran outside. I looked around for anything that would tell me where Ryder was!

"Check the fallen wreakage!" I started pulling some with my hands, and they used their machines.  Dont worry Ryder, i wont let you die. Or at least I wont let you die without me or the pups by your side!

"Whats that light?" Rubble asked, causing me and Chase to run iver to his section.

"No, no,no!" I mutter, grabbing each part of the fallen bricks and glass. I caught my hand on some glass, but i didnt care. All i cared about was Ryder! I knew he cared for me, and i care for him even if we wasnt always around each other! I sobbed, thinking about all our good memories together as i managed to reach his body.

I looked at his body, and the state it was in and i just sat there. Sobbing. He couldnt have suvived that fall, no one would have!

"No..." i cried, placing 2 fingers on his neck trying to feel a pulse.
