{FRIDAY MORNING.}
Paul : {WENT TO WORK. AND WALKED TO THE RECEPTION.}
Reception : Morning Mr Pale.
Paul : Morning, how are you doing today?
Reception : I'm good and you.
Paul : I'm fantastic. Do I have any new messages?
Reception : Yes. I sent them to your office.
Paul : What about appointments?
Reception : The CEO requested to see you ASAP and there is also a board meeting this afternoon.
Paul : That's all.
Reception : Yes sir.
Paul : Okay thanks. Have a great day.
Reception : You too sir.
Paul : {HEADING TO THE CEO'S OFFICE.}
CEO : Paul.
Paul : Hey. {WITH A BRIGHT SMILE.}
CEO : So nice to see you.
Paul : I heard you wanted to see me and so I came straight here.
CEO : Yha I did.
Paul : What's wrong?
CEO : We have a new potential investment. But we must peach to them, why we deserve their investment.
Paul : What should I do?
CEO : I want you to come up with an interesting speech. To help them notice that we are deserving.
Paul : I'll work on it when I get home.
CEO : We don't have much time. They will be here this afternoon.
Paul : This is a short notice.
CEO : Sorry, but it was short notice to me too. They called this morning, demand to come.
Paul : What is the rush for?
CEO : Maybe they want to see if we can work under pressure.
Paul : But what we do here is none of their business.
CEO : I know. But they want to protect their funds. Let's just get started, working on this speech.
{THEY PREPARED THE SPEECH FOR HOURS WITHOUT EVEN GOING TO THE LUNCH BREAK. THEN THEY GOT IT ALL RIGHT. THEY PRACTICED AND THEN MASTERED IT. THAT AFTERNOON, EVERY BOARD MEMBER WENT TO ATTEND THE MEETING. INVESTORS ALSO SHOWED UP IN TIME. PAUL GAVE A GREAT PEACH THAT SURELY AMAZED THE INVESTORS.}
Investor 1 : {APPLAUSED.}
Investor 2 : What a wonderful peach, dispite the short notice. It's like you have been prepared for a long time.
Paul : Thank you sir.
Investor 1 : We'll be in contact with you once we have discussed this with the board members.
CEO : We will be waiting.
Investor 2 : We must go now.
Paul : Travel safely.
Investor 2 : Thanks, keep well yourselves.
Paul : We shall sir.
Investors : {LEFT.}
CEO : We must also get going. It's been a long day and you must rest after all the hard work you have done today.
Paul : Why counting yourself out?
CEO : Because you did the hardest job than myself.
Paul : Even though, you did help me. And you have to rest too.
CEO : Okay. See you at work soon.
Paul : Travel safe.
CEO : Same to you.
{PAUL AND THE CEO DROVE OUT OF THE WORKPLACE PARKING LOT AND WENT TO THEIR PLACES. BUT PAUL RECEIVED SOME SAD NEWS THAT NIGHT, ABOUT HIS MOTHER.}
Doctor : {DIAL IN THE NUMBER OF PAUL.}
Paul : Hi doc.
Doctor : Paul... {IN A SAD VOICE.}
Paul : Is everything okay doc?
Doctor : Can you come see me soon?
Paul : Is my mother alright?
Doctor : I really can't say much.
Paul : You can tell me. I have always been prepared for this conversation.
Doctor : Sorry Paul... But your mother... Is no more.
Paul : {TEARS FALLING DOWN.} Thank you for informing me doc.
{PAUL MADE SOME PHONE CALLS TO FAMILY, FRIENDS AND HIS INSURANCE COMPANY ABOUT HIS MOTHER'S DEATH. THE FOLLOWING DAY MISS PALE WAS LAYED TO REST. THE FUNERAL WAS PUBLISHED IN NEWSPAPERS AND ALL OVER THE NEWS. SINCE PAUL WAS WORKING IN A BIG WORLD WIDE RECOGNISED COMPANY.}
