A strong feeling kept the pressure on my waist, while his head met itself with the crook of my neck. He was mumbling something that I couldn't quite understand, and also made me wonder if he was awake or yet sleep talking.

I tried to turn myself around, but his grip was tight and made it almost impossible to move even a single angle. But I managed to turn myself around to be met with Sem, who was still passed out on the bed. It made me slightly chuckle as I reached for my phone, which was only a couple of feet away from my current position, laying there on the nightstand. But it only caused me to hit Sem by accident.

I froze as he was slowly waking up, his eyes squeezed tight and getting used to the awful bright light, coming through the curtains. "Hmpf.." He had this attractive morning voice, but that's probably just me. I've got something with voices. After several seconds he decided to speak up, realizing that I was indeed still next to him and wasn't like normally at work or in the kitchen making breakfast.

His arm was still lightly around my waist, and it made me question if he even realized where his hand was. "Babe?... Aren't you supposed to be at work?" He looks at the alarm and then back at me, realizing that it's an hour over my normal work routine. "My work starts in 2 hours.. and besides, I can't really go make breakfast or anything since you know.." I pointed at his arm, him tracing my movements. "You're kind of preventing me from getting up.." I say, chuckling under my breath. He took notice of this and quickly moved his hand off my waist.

He scraped his throat before moving to look at the ceiling, his hands supporting the back of his head and resting them against the pillow. ''What happened last night?'' he mumbles, his head slightly tilting to the side to get a good look at me. I looked up from my phone, seeing his eyes now glued to my face. I got slightly red but also felt rushed and panicked. Just by thinking back to the night before. ''I-... What do you mean?..'' I mumble back, insecure. now, tracing my eyes back to my phone.

He pulls himself up, now sitting down while pain shoots through his head. Him growling at it being sudden. ''What I mean is..'' Before my realization hits, he already has my phone in his hand, putting it on the nightstand closer to his side of the bed. He then makes his way back to me and pulls me up by simply holding my hands.

I'm now sitting cross-legged, directly in front of Sem as his gaze meets my marked cheek and slight blue eye. ''What happened to you to look like this? I'm assuming you've got this from yesterday evening?'' - ''Didn't notice this before.'' his thumb and index finger are now holding my chin, moving it slightly for him to have a better look at it. My eyes widened, as my breathing started to hitch. You did this Sem. You caused this, are you fucking not realizing you're hurting me?

''T-There were some group of drunk guys messing around and pushing Atlas around; I tried to stop them by pulling them apart but was hit by the minute I did..'' I lied, for surprise not stuttering too much, more of a change for him to believe me. Why don't I tell him the truth? I think that some part of me can't, but i also know that some part of me wants to scream it in his face.

''Hm..'' he looks at me with this thinking expression. I can tell he doesn't believe it, but he keeps his mouth shut. He's probably having too much of his hangover that he doesn't feel like arguing right now. ''Okay.'' his grip on my chin tightens, the type to make it hurt just a bit. I try not to make a sound or show any affection that it hurts, which I succeed surprisingly well at. Only because he loosened his grip afterward, letting himself fall back into the blankets and standing up with force.
