"Hello miss-.." I suddenly said, which caught her by surprise. "This might look really weird, that a stranger is carrying your daughter and knows where you life, but i promise i didn't murder her or anything, she's still breathing. Well, uh. Long story short, I found Brooklyn and those two boys." I pointed at the boys with one hand while still holding Brooklynn close to me. "They are.. pretty drunk." Her mother started to chuckle at my attempt at being polite, but she could see I was annoyed. "Oh sweetheart, I feel like I've seen you before." She looked at me closely, squeezing her eyes a little, but nothing seemed to make things clearer for her.

"I'm probably just imagining it." She starts to laugh politely, as she opens the door further as a sign for me to walk in.

I walked in carefully, trying not to let any painting fall down the small hallway walls. "Could you maybe put her upstairs dear?.. I would've done it myself but as you can see.." She showed me her arm, which was wrapped in a cast. "My arms broken." I nodded immediately, not wanting to let her do anything she couldn't do. "Yes ofcourse." I was making my way up the stairs and held Brooklynn against my chest, to provide her from falling. "It's the third bedroom on the left!" Her mother whisper-yelled, not wanting to wake up any neighbor through those very thin walls.

I nodded as Her mother motioned for Atlas and Sem to come with her, and then she shut the door.

When I found the right door and went in it, I was met with a bright white room, with some blue stickers plastered against the walls. I think this was her room when she was younger. There's a two-person white bed against the very white wall with a blue blanket. And loads of pillows.

I smiled at the sight of the room as I placed her down on the bed. I put her shoes off before tilting the blanket up a little and made sure that she was tucked in.

I made my way out of the room and closed the door and then made my way downstairs. Atlas was lying on the couch with a glass of water placed on the table next to him and Sem was lying down on an old matras; it had holes in it but they both had blankets. He had a glass of water, too, and they were both passed out.

I guess that she noticed me looking as she made her way towards me."You want something to drink hun?"
I shook my head. "Im alright, I should get going,It's late."
"Alright, stay safe out there alright dear?"
"Yes miss."
"Call me Abigail." She had a smile plastered on her face.
I felt bad leaving her there with two unknown boys, or maybe she did know them since they were in her class and they were friends, but maybe she forgot. I don't know how long they have been back in town, but I know that they moved to California.

"Goodnight miss- Abigail." I said, ready to walk away. But I got interrupted by her yelling something back. "Wait! What's your name? So I could let them know who brought them here"
I smiled, and turned back around.
"It's Cody miss." She nodded and gave the same kindening smile.
"Goodnight Cody!"
"Goodnight Abigail."

I was fully out of sight, walking back to my car, and once I was inside and threw the door closed, I grabbed my phone. I pulled out Brooklynn and I's chat, and texted her.
'I left some pain killers on your nightstand, a glass of water too. I'll see you tomorrow.
I figured that it might sound weird if you would receive a text saying 'see you tommorow.' When you probably don't know what that person is talking about.
'Appointment :).' I texted quickly afterwards and then locked my phone, ready to start the engine.
