You heard a car door open,hushing Eddie and stopping in your tracks,you and eddie scattered up stairs hearing you dad yell "who's in my house?" You rushed eddie and yourself into your bedroom closet and shut the door, your dad slowly entered through the front door with a knife in hand and looked down at the broken glass and blood stains on the carpet from where you acidentally cut yourself "y/n? Are you back??" He yelled his voice filling the rooms you look at eddie then he pulled you in to make sure you were quiet, your dad was wondering around with the knife out ready to stab the intruder, you and Eddie silently open the closet door, you both scattered to the bathroom waiting for your dad to go to his bedroom downstairs so you could make a run for it "y/n.."vecna whispered,you tried to block him out and shut your eyes tightly but he took control, your eyes glued to the back of your head you start shaking slightly just like max "y/n,y/n"Eddie whispered "we can go now" he looked over at you and realised what was happening, Eddie grabbed the walkman and cassette out of your hand and put it on he lifted you into his arms making a run out of the front door while your dad was in his room looking for the possible intruders.Eddie sprinted a little down the road until you escaped vecna's attack you started panting "eddie?" You say taking off the earphones, he puts you down "that was close"you both mumbled you stare up at him with a bright shine in your eyes,"we need to go before anyone see's you"you grab his hand a run to the car together and quickly Crouch down in the car."y/n are you okay?"dustin said turning from the passenger seat "uh yeah,i vecna got me.."you say looking a max with a slight smile "but this cutie over here saved me by putting on music"you added Dustin sighed turning back around to face the road "we need to go to lovers lake,its where the 'water gate' is" he stated steve nodded and was driving off to the destination.it was getting darker than expected but it didn't stop you from searching for the water gate,soon after a little walk in the woods you got to lovers lake at this point it was pitch black you were holding eddies hand as you got to the edge of the land where it stretched for miles of water you looked to your left seeing a boat you walk over leading eddie over too "guys we can use this boat?"you questioned "good idea sweetheart"eddie said, eddie and steve drag the boat off of the dirt, they both hold it while you robin and nancy hop in,dustin walks forward and you see steve stop him "what are you doing,you trying to sink us,this thing holds 4 tops" He blurted out "it's my theory though?" Steve held his hand out for the compass and dustin gave it over steve pushed the boat quickly hopping in "what happened to 4?"dustin yelled he glared at steve and sat down with max and lucas on a nearby log."what if we don't find this guys?"Eddie questioned "then we need to find another way.."robin whispered soon steve looks at the compass and its going wild its going every derection steve hands you the compass and take of his yellow sweatshirt handing it to robin,he takes off his shoes "steve,what are you doing?"nancy says staring up at steve "well someone needs to go,and it should be the hawkins high swim coach"he quickly went to dive before Eddie gave him a torch rapped in a plastic bag he would store his weed in "be careful"nancy whined
"Will do"steve said diving in the water making a splash we sat there in silence as we waited the boat was shaking as Nancy was bouncing her leg.in a instance steve came up for a big breath "i found it"he puffed he quickly got tugged under the water and bobbed back up,once again he got yanked but this time he didn't come back up "steve?" Robin yelled "STEVE" Nancy yelled taking off her watch "w-what are you doing"Eddie shrieked "going in"robin replied you and eddie look at each other in disbelief robin and nancy quickly dive in after steve "c'mon we have to babe"you quickly say taking his hand to the edge of the boat "okay 1 2 3 dive"you say making one big splash you and eddie swim to the gate at the bottom of the lake going through it you the where on the other side,the upsidedown you see robin and nancy running to steve he had a bat looking thing choking him you quickly grabbed an oar swinging the bat into the air in one swing, eddie grabbed the other oar hitting some more that came by,steve gulped for air as he stomped on one's head you all pant and finish fighting them "jesus"robin yelled "guys there's more coming"you stated "there's only like five we can take them"steve scoffed,his eyes widend as eddie pointed to the whole flock of bats coming our way "woods, c'mon woods"Nancy raised her voice running into the woods "great more running"robin added running after the group we stopped at a big rock it was almost exactly like skull rock but in the upsidedown,eddie ran up a big rock looking out at the daunting view of the upsidedown "careful eddie"you say worryingly "its like all connected man if you step on a vine you step on the bat things you step on vecna"steve explained looking down at the giant gash on his stomach "Steve,are you okay?"nancy gasped "other than the bats taking a whole pound of flesh,never been better" he smiled nervously nancy was bandaging him up when there was an earthquake thing, you fell onto eddie and you both fell to the ground
"Sorry eds,are you okay"you gulp getting up "yea sweetheart,im fine"he added taking your hand to get up he smiles at you, you help robin up "thanks y/n"robin laughed taking your hand "we need to stop them"robin protested "what if we go to the police station,get guns grenades all that stuff?"
"I dont think a police station would have grenades,but guns proably" you replied to robin "we don't need to go that far i-i have guns in my room"nancy confessed "you.. Nancy wheeler have guns-" eddie snapped "plural" you added she nodded.She lead us deeper into the woods and eventually we found her house it was so dark and depressing in the upsidedown, Nancy then pushed open open the door we all ran up the stairs but steve started to look around downstairs nancy opend a draw and was startled "are you sure you have them Nancy?"eddie questioned "i know where i keep my guns there is a 6 year old in the house"she snapped scavenging through boxes "wait..i threw this out like 3 years ago.." nancy said picking up some old balett shoes "and this,this wallpaper its old"she pointed she quickly ran to her night stand "my old diary it sent back to November 6th 1983 "Nancy gasped the day will went missing"Nancy added all of a sudden we all heard a scream, it was steve downstairs, we all rushed down the stairs "steve are you okay?"you yell "henderson, he's in the wall's"he paused "listen"it went quiet as steve stopped pacing around "henderson"he then yelled shining the torch around clueless "watergate"a silent and muffled voice whispered it was dustin "dustin!"you yell looking at nancy and robin then Eddie you all walk around searching to see if he was with you eddie pulled a curtain to see if he was behind you scoffed "he's not here" "will found a way, he communicated through the lights" nancy rushed over to a nearby lamp flicking the switch "shit"she mumbled, eddie looked up at the light to see yellow dust looking stuff he walked over and put his hand up to it, it shined brighter when his hands were near it "guys,a-are you seeing this?"
