Each step the children took led them farther away from Maryville. Carter had snot running down his face and Aurora was caring him on her back. Lilith was showing Rosalie how to make flower headbands to pass the time. Zachary held the stolen food with a frustrated look on his face. "It's a shame we can never go back to Maryville now." Explained Zachary. "It's alright Zachary." Called Lilith who had stopped to quickly pick some more flowers. "I'm quite tired Zachary." Yawned Rosalie. "You should be, we've been walking for hours!" Said Zachary with a dry voice. Carter began to cry. "What's this for?" Said Aurora sympathetically. "I'm hungry!" Cried Carter "and it's all my fault that we have to walk this far!" He started to howl with tears in aurora's arms. "Is that a farm?" Rosalie asked. "I do believe it is!" Squealed Lilith! The children ran to the farm and quickly made a bed of hay that sat on the front land. They had a lovely supper and fell fast asleep.
