Screams rung through the household as Kim Sookjoo grasped onto the sheets of her bed, labor pains coming in waves throughout her body. Her husband, Kim Myungsuck, stood beside her bed, holding out his hand for her to hold.
"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME YOU DICK?" Sookjoo screeched as she grabbed his hand, holding on for dear life. Her husband winced, his bones almost cracking under her grip.
Outside of the married couple's bedroom, six boys waited anxiously for their sibling to arrive. A tense silence surrounded them as they listened to the pained screams coming from their mother on the other side of the door.
The six of them were sitting on a couch, the youngest two on the laps of Jin and Yoongi.
"How much longer do you think it will be?" Yoongi asked Jin, bouncing Taehyung on his lap. Jin looked at his younger brother and shrugged, cradling a sleeping Jimin in his arms.
Hoseok and Namjoon were sitting beside their older brothers, flinching every time their mother let out an ear splitting scream. Jin patted Hoseok's head soothingly, whispering comforting words into the three-year-old's ears.
After about fifteen more minutes, the screams finally stopped. Jin and Yoongi stood up immediately, putting their brothers on their feet and lead them towards the door.
Jin knocked on the door timidly. "Mom, can we come in?"
A muffled "Yes" was heard from the other side of the door. Jin opened the door slowly and waved a hand at his brothers to follow closely behind him, walking into the room.
The six boys immediately looked at their mother who was sitting on the bed, sweaty and fatigued. In her arms was a bundle, their sibling.
Yoongi ran over to his mother's side, attempting to see the face of the baby. Their mom let out a soft chuckle and helped Yoongi and the other five boys up onto the large bed.
"Come and take a look at your new baby brother." She said, adjusting her hold on the baby boy so that his face was visible to the six young boys beside her.
The six boys stared at the chubby cheeked baby that was in their mother's arms, tiny fangs protruding from behind his lips. His eyes were dark brown with a slight red hue.
Taehyung reached his hand out, poking the soft cheek of his baby brother, smiling down at the small boy that was swaddled in his mother's arms.
Their father walked up to them, smiling at the interaction between the two youngest boys. "Okay boys, let's leave your mother and brother to rest. It has been an exhausting day for both of them." Myungsuck said, helping his six children off the bed and leading them into the other room.
"It's getting late now boys, let's go to bed." The six boys were lead to their rooms and put to sleep by their father, a loving smile on his face as he looked at each of his boys.
