Tori's POV
My name is Tori. I'm 16 and I live in LA. Everyone else has ditched me apart from my best friends, Jade and Cat. They're the only ones who haven't been brainwashed yet. My parents aren't really there for me and my sister is always away. My dad is the only person in my family that can cook. My mom can cook desserts but she doesn't anymore because she wants daughters who are thin and healthy, not fat, which is why, whenever she orders takeaway, I'm never allowed any. Trina is because apparently she knows how to eat and behave right. It really annoys me that they favor her over me. I've grown to learn that Jade and Cat are my family now. I live at home but I spend most of my time with Jade and Cat. My parents are always going away. I'm currently at school in the hallway. I'm standing with Jade and cat. "I'm telling you, his music is the best!" Jade said. Jade has this obsession over Beck Oliver. He's a famous singer and he's all she ever talks about. "Yea, we know." I said, rolling my eyes. "This is all we ever talk about nowadays." Cat said. "Please can we have a conversation that doesn't concern him?" I asked. I don't hate the guy, I'm just tired of hearing about him everyday. "Okay." Jade sighed. "Thank you." I sighed in relief. "Tori, can we come over to your house later?" Cat asked. "I don't see why not. I can try and get my mom to order us a pizza." I said. "Awesome." Jade said. "Yay!" Cat said. I'm really hoping that my parents don't mind. Knowing my mother, she probably won't let me have any pizza. I just wish that my life was perfect.
Cat's POV
I hate Tori's parents. They can be so cruel. Hopefully they'll let her have some pizza tonight. I'm currently in the asphalt café with Jade, wondering where Tori is. "Where is she?" Jade asked. "No clue." I said. "Hey guys." Tori said. "Where the hell have you been?" Jade asked. "Oh, Um, Robbie needed help with something." Tori said. I could tell by the look on her face that she wasn't helping Robbie with anything. "Okay, look at this!" Jade said, waving a flyer in Tori's face. Oh no. This is the part where she talks about Beck Oliver. This is going to be the most boring 5 minutes of my life.
