Chapter 7

Cat's POV

I'm currently on a date with Robbie. We've been dating for 9 months. Jade and Tori don't like him because of what he did to them. I think he's really sweet. Tori and Jade are my friends but Robbie is my boyfriend. "Babe, I got you something." Robbie said. I giggled. "Aw, thank you Robbie!" I said happily. He gave me a diamond necklace. I smiled. "I'm glad you like it babe." Robbie said. "Thanks." I said and we kissed. "Listen, I'm going to Karaoke Dokie with Hayley tomorrow. Why don't you come along?" Robbie asked. "I can't. I'm hanging out with Jade and Tori. I can't just ditch them. They're my friends." I said. Robbie kissed me again. "Why not? You know that they're not worth your time." Robbie said. I don't want to listen to this. I told him to drop me home. I'm fed up of him telling me that Jade and Tori aren't good enough to hang out with me. He loves me but he doesn't like them. It was his fault that Tori and Jade stopped talking to him. I really want to break up with him but I don't know how. I got home and started to think about it. I fell asleep straightaway. I don't know what to do. Robbie's my boyfriend and I love him but at the same time, Tori and Jade are my best friends and I don't want to ditch them. Tori doesn't deserve to be ditched. Everyone else has ditched her and I'm not going to be added to that list.

The next day

I woke up and went to school. I can't stop thinking about what Robbie said to me last night. "Cat, I keep telling you, break up with him." Jade said. "Jade, it's not that simple." I said. "He's a jerk, you're not." Jade said. Andre walked past and smiled at Jade, making her blush. "Ooh.." I said. "Oh, stop." She said teasingly. We walked away to our class. I wonder where Tori is. Oh well, we'll figure that out later.

Jade's POV

I think I'm starting to fall in love with Andre. I want him to ask me out but I know that's not going to happen. Tori texted me saying that she won't be coming into school today. "Hey Jade." Andre said. "Hey." I smiled. I've had a crush on him for months. He smiled at me and I smiled back. "Jade!" Cat said. Cat told me that she broke up with Robbie. Good for her. "Good for you, Cat. At least you dumped that jerkass." I said. "He was being rude about Tori." Cat said. I smiled and we walked down the hall. I'm so glad that Cat confided in me.

Tori's POV

Beck told me that I could stay at his until my parents came back from Seattle. I feel like my life is falling apart but I don't know how to stop that from happening. I went into his bathroom and cut again. "Tori, are you okay?" Beck called. "Yea, I'm fine." I said and came out of the bathroom. I cried because of the pain. "Oh my gosh, you're bleeding." Beck said. "No, I'm fine." I said. "Do you think you're ready to talk?" He asked, cleaning up the blood on my arm. "I don't know." I said. "I'm here." He said. I breathed in and started to talk. "Since I was born, I've been the failure. Everyone hates me. My parents love my sister, but not me. All of my friends ditched me, except for Jade and Cat. I started cutting because it takes away the pain, but it also makes it worse. I just want everything to be okay." I cried and he brought me into a hug. "It's going to be okay. I'm going to take care of you. You're remarkable." He told me and kissed my forehead. "Thank you." I said. For once in my life, I feel safe.
