Tori's POV
I was sitting on the sidewalk, crying. I am such a failure, I don't deserve anything or anyone. My parents hate me and so does my sister. I just want someone to understand me. "Are you okay?" I heard someone ask. I looked up to see Beck Oliver. "Y-yeah. I'm fine." I said. "You're not fine. If you were fine, you wouldn't be crying." He said softly. "It's just..." I said. "It's just what?" He asked. My wrists started bleeding at the worst possible time. "Hey, what happened to your wrist?" He asked. "N-nothing." I stuttered. He seems like a nice guy but what if he ditches me like everyone else? "Tori, you know you can tell me anything." He said. How does he know my name? "H-how do you know my name?" I asked. "I overheard your friends talking about you. They're worried about you." He said. "Oh." I said. He grabbed a note and wrote a phone number on it. "It's my phone number. If you need to talk, just call me." He said. "Thank you." I said. "Now, come here." He said and gave me a hug. He walked away and I went to find Cat and Jade. "Tori, there you are!" Jade said and hugged me. I winced in pain. "Where have you been?!" Cat asked. I didn't say anything and we walked to the car. I just want something to go right for once. "So, why don't we have a sleepover at yours tonight?" Jade suggested. I nodded. "Ah, Tori, you're back." Mom said. "Have you been eating pizza again? You look really big." Dad said. "No, she didn't eat anything whilst we were there." Cat said. "So there's no need to have a go at me tonight." I said. The doorbell rang. "That'll be Robbie." Jade said. Robbie is Cat's boyfriend. I don't know why she dates him because he's a jerk. "I'll get it." Dad said. "Hi, mr Vega, is Cat here?" Robbie asked. Cat ran out to him and kissed him. I seriously don't know why she dates him. He'll probably use her like he does to all the girls he dates. "Tori, your mother and I are going to Seattle tonight to visit your sister. She's doing her one woman monologue." Dad said. Jade rolled her eyes. "Don't stay up too late. We'll be back in 2 weeks." Mom said. "Okay, mom." I said. "We're ever so proud of Trina. She's so talented!" My dad said. "I know, I wish that Tori was as talented as Trina!" Mom said. "I know." Dad said. "I keep telling you that I want to be an actress!" I yelled. "Shut up, Tori." Dad said. I hate living here. I walked up to my room. My mom and dad left for Seattle. It's going to be a nice two weeks without them. I'm like the family disappointment, they think that Trina is better than me and I think they're right. "I'm so bored!" I said. I just hate everything about my life. I decided to go out for a little walk. I told jade I wasn't in the mood for a sleepover so Jade went home. I walked for a little while. I got to a massive metal RV. I didn't know whose it was. "Tori?" I looked up and saw Beck. "Oh, Hey Beck." I said. "Are you okay?" He asked. "Y-yeah. I'm fine." I said. "You must be freezing. Come in." Beck said. I had no idea that he lived here. I sat down and he made me feel welcome. "Thank you." I said. "Do you want to talk about it?" Beck asked. "Not at the moment." I said. "I understand. Do you want to stay here tonight and I'll take you to school in the morning?" Beck asked. "I don't really feel like going to school tomorrow." I said. "We can do whatever you want. You don't have to go to school. It'll all be okay." He said. I nodded. He started surfing through the channels. I ended up falling asleep. I just feel so upset that my life is so crap.
Jade's POV
I fucking hate Tori's parents. I also don't get why Cat is dating Robbie. He used to be in our friend group until he started spreading rumors about Tori and I. Cat started dating him before the rumors about me and Tori were spread and she hasn't broken up with him yet. I keep telling her to break up with him but she doesn't listen. I got home and practiced my favorite song. The doorbell rang. My mom answered it. It was her boyfriend. I just wish that Tori would have a normal life.
Beck's POV
I was sitting on my bed in my RV. Tori was sound asleep. I wondered why there were loads of cuts on her wrists. I wanted to know more but I didn't want to force her to do something she wasn't comfortable with. I placed a kiss on Tori's forehead. "Sweet dreams, sweetheart." I whispered softly. She is so fragile and I'm willing to help her. I don't want her to feel alone.
