Chapter 9

Jade's POV

I hate everything right now. Tori has type 1 depression. "Where's Tori?" Cat asked. We were hanging out at Cat's house. "I don't know." I said. The doorbell rang. "I'll get it." I said. I ran downstairs and opened the door. It was Beck. "Jade, who is it?" Cat yelled. "It's beck!" I yelled back. "Let him in!" Cat yelled. I let him in. "Where's Tori?" I asked. "In the car. I can't stay long." He said and walked upstairs. "Ah, what's up?" I asked. "I think I'm in love with Tori." He said. Oh. I looked at him and told him to follow his heart. Then, he left. Oh, this is going to be interesting.

Cat's POV

I cannot believe my ears. Beck has a crush on Tori? Omg. We have to help him get his girl! "Cat. We have to do something." Jade said. "But what?" I asked. We didn't know. We'll just have to help Beck figure this out later.

Beck's Pov

I'm in love with Tori. Oh my god. I don't know how to handle this. Jade told me to take Tori out on a date and then tell her how I feel. I'm going to do it. "Beck, why do all the bad things have to happen to me?" Tori asked me. I had no idea why the universe has to be so cruel to her. "I don't know." I said and pecked her head. "Listen, how about we go to Maestro's tomorrow?" I asked and she nodded. "I'd love to." Tori said. "Perfect." I smiled. Her parents still haven't returned from Seattle. "Thanks for everything." Tori said. "Beck, dinner's ready!" My mom yelled. "Bring it in to the RV, Mom!" I yelled. "It's ok. I can just go home." Tori said. "No, don't be silly." I said. "Okay." Tori said nervously. Dad knocked on the door and I let him in. "Hello, son. Mom wanted me to bring your dinner." Dad said and then left again. "That was my dad." I said. He didn't say anything to Tori, which made me a little upset. I went inside to talk to my dad. I hoped he would understand that Tori is a nice girl. If he doesn't, I'm going to make him understand.
