Summer Of 22, school's finally out for summer break and Y/n will be going to Hawaii to stay with her older sister for the summer. Little did she know, she will be falling in love..
I stared out the window as the trees passed by, I sigh and sit up, placing my chin on the drivers side seat, looking out at the road.
Y/n: "How much longer?"
I asked as my father was driving, focusing on the road.
Dad: "You really can't wait leave us, can't you?"
He joked, I smiled.
Y/n: "Yeah, definitely."
I joked, then I sat back.
Dad: "Just a few more minutes."
I look to my side as I watched cars on the other side of the interstate speed by.
Mom: "I can't believe we're letting you fly on your own."
She said, I looked at her.
Y/n: "Mom, I'll be fine. Im nineteen."
I said, she sighs.
Mom: "Yeah, you're right.."
Y/n: "And plus, Gabbie will be there waiting for me when I land."
I said, making a point.
Mom: "You're right, I'm just being paranoid."
Y/n: "As usual."
I said, she looks at me with a serious look, causing me to laugh.
Y/n: "I'm kidding."
She rolls her eyes playfully and looks back at the road. I smile and look down at my phone, I decided to take a picture and post on Instagram since I had nothing else to do. I placed my phone on top of my suitcases and put the timer on the camera, then it clicks and I grab my phone, going to Instagram and posting it.

I'm going to Hawaii to spend the summer with my sister, Gabriela and niece. I haven't seen them in months and decided Hawaii would be the perfect place to spend my entire summer. I got lucky too, since I have a sister that lives there.
This year was my last year of high school, I plan on going to college in three months and Hawaii just seemed like the perfect place to ease my stress before going.
