At the age of seventeen, Kanoa has been through more than most people could even dream of. She needs a new start and she hopes she'll find it in Kauai - her dad's hometown. She want to live her life, free of her past and with no distractions. But Makai, a cocky, arrogant childhood friend with an unknown grudge against her, is making that difficult. He is determined to find out what she is hiding. He didn't mean to fall in love with her in the process. With the help of her friends she attempts to find normality without water, which is one thing she's never had to do. She wants to forget about her past and focus on re inventing herself.

Story Description: Isang propesyonal na doctor si Larahiya Haro o mas Kilala bilang Doc L. Kilala sya bilang doctor na walang inaatrasan. Wala rin itong takot kahit sino pa ang makabangga nya makuha lamang ang katarungan na hinahangad nito. Pero mas Kilala ito bilang isang doctor na matulungin at mabait sa mga bata. Ngunit paano kapag isang araw mapunta ito sa bingit ng kamatayan? At ang tanging makakaligtas lang sa kanya ay ang naka-itim na lalake na gustong kunin ang kaluluwa nito?. Paano kung ang tanging paraan lang para makaligtas ka ay ang ibenta ang kaluluwa mo sa naka-itim na nilalang o mas Kilala sa tawag na si KAMATAYAN?. Paano kapag nakakilala ka ng Grim Reaper na bossy at mahirap pakisamahan?. Makakayanan mo kayang tumira sa iisang Bahay Kasama siya?. To me, stories are like sparks jumping out of a fire. They are lightening flashes, which last for a second but leave you dazed and dreaming for more.
