•.Zach's POV.•

The guys and I have been working non stop this month, trying to get things done as soon as possible. I've also tried my best to keep in touch with Y/n, but that hasn't happened as much as I wish it did. I'm getting home late every night from working in the studio 24/7, I'm always too tired to call her, or text her.. and I feel terrible because I promised I would call every day.. but life happened. Work happened, and I'm unable to communicate right now.

We're currently at the studio, taking a break which isn't often.. so I decided to use this time and call Y/n. I sat there as the phone rang, it kept ringing for a long time, she didn't answer. I decided to try again, so I waited again. But no answer. She's probably doing something right now, she'll call me back.

Da: "How about we all go out to a cafe?"

He suggested, we all agreed, so we left the studio and went to a small cafe just down the road. We all ordered and sat down, then we just talked.

Ja: "So I put my sour patch kids in the freezer, right? Well.. when I opened it again, they were gone!"

He said, I sat there staring at him.

Co: "Bro."

Jo: "They disappeared?"

Ja: "Yeah!"

Za: "We're you drunk?"

Daniel laughed, then as I glanced to my right, I caught something that looked familiar. I looked again to see my ex.. Kay.

Za: "Shit."

Da: "What?"

He looked as well.

Da: "Uh, oh."

He said, I sigh and lean my head back, dreading this.

Ja: "Um.. she's coming over here.."

I heard him say, I then look back to see her walking her way over to us.

Za: "Fuck my life.."

I mumbled.

Ka: "Hey, Zach."

She said, looking me in the eyes.

Za: "Hey.. Kay."

I said back, the guys were silent..

Ka: "How are you?"

Za: "I'm good.."

I heard one of the boys chuckle, I was burning inside to just run for the door, but I didn't.

Ka: "That's good, I just wanted to come over and see how you were.. you know, since you looked at me."

Za: "Yeah, I did that.."

I said, hoping this would end any second now.

Ka: "Hi, boys."

She said, waving at the guys, they waved back, saying hey.

Ka: "Well.. I guess I should get going."

She said, finally. I nodded.

Ka: "Oh, and here's this.. thought you might want it."

She said, handing me a paper towel.. then walked away.

Ja: "What the fuck is that?"

Jo: "Shh!"

I then open it up to see a number written down.. I sigh.

Da: "Damn."

He said, I shake my head.
