3rd Person's POV:
Ash, Mallow and Y/N are currently eating at Mallow's family restaurant "The current Pokémon encounter rate in the forest behind the Pokémon School is 89%" the unusual pokedex calculated Ash's possibility to encounter and catch Pokémon on certain places.
"That's probably true! That's the place where I caught Bounsweet" Mallow chimed in and her Pokémon responded by using the move sweet scent which attracted a certain owl Pokémon's attention.
Out of nowhere, a Rowlet swooped in and aimed it's claws to take Bounsweet. Luckily she acted fast and rotated her leaves to act like the fans of an electric fan when it's rotating [I'm not good on explaining things😭] which served as a shield from Rowlet. "Hey, who's that Pokémon?" Ash asked in which the flying iPad responded "Rowlet, the Grass Quill Pokémon..." Rotomdex continued on its explanation.
The bird tried to grab Bounsweet a few more times until it got caught on some electric wires and stayed there for a few seconds until it fell and look's like that rowlet has no idea that it'll hit the pavement/road. Fortunately Ash catched it but Rowlet paid no attention to him and went to sleep.
~Small Time Skip~
Y/N's POV:
After a minute or two, the Rowlet finally opened it's Eyes and cooed softly to Ash. After staring for a few seconds, it started jumping on Ash's soft backpack where the bird rested a few minutes back. The Rowlet turned it's head and the moment it laid those eyes to the bowl of melon, it immediately dig in like it's the last meal it will ate.
Ash brought out a banana and also gave it to the starving (In my opinion) bird which it gladly ate in two bites [I wish I could also do that :')].
Rowlet finished eating the whole melon and went back to sleep. I decided to pet it's fur which is really soft and fluffy. Ash took out a Pokeball and was about to ask Rowlet if it would want to be Ash's Pokémon but it suddenly flew away with the watermelon the Mallow put on the bowl. And Ash decided to go after the Rowlet. "Hey Ash wait! You'll get lost in the Forest" Mallow said. "Also wait for me, don't leave me here!" I said and picked up the left over fruits from my food and went after the two of them.
