He marked me as his Polaris.

The biggest star in the northern skies.

The one from the Ursa Minor.

But I was the Sirius star.

The brightest star in the southern skies.

The one from the Canis Major.

He said that I was the moon,

A translucent ball of light at night.

I gave light to his dark world.

But I was the sun.

A hot and burning ball of plasma during the day.

A blessing to everyone, a burden to some.

He dubbed me as his galaxy.

The one that contains everything.

I was his everything.

But I'm just a mere planet.
