"Log 123, mission 57-
All you could hear was screaming. People were running around like headless chickens trying to find their loved ones and seek shelter, but there was nowhere safe to run to. You could see and feel buildings crumbling down, you could hear the screams of the people trapped in them. It was horrifying. The sky was a reddish color but was dimmed by all the ash in the sky. People were laying on the ground, unmoving, dead. All I can say about it is that it was chaos.
The day we feared has come, our planet is dying, and we were the cause. Humanity had exceeded its limit on our planet, and we deserved this. But we had been preparing for this, me and my wife had been chosen to be sent to another planet and hope that we make it there in time. I had to run to the space station to meet my wife there.
We had to hurry to put on our space suits and load up the rocket. We didn't plan for it to happen this early, so we were really unprepared. We stared at the sky from the nose of the rocket. Dust and debris clouded the sky, the red hue barley showing through.
"I'm scared," My wife had said to me as we checked the systems. I didn't respond, I was the man, I needed to be strong for her. I grabbed her hand and gave it a firm but gentle squeeze.
The rocket began to shake as the countdown began. I made sure everything was going ok in the rocket. "3,2,1, launch!" The rocket roared off of the ground and into the sky..
.Our planet looked so small as we flew away from it. I had a new mission now, I needed to get my wife and I to this new planet. It is approaching slowly now. I could see the green land and the big blue water.
This is Adam signing off with my wife Eve about to land on our new planet we call Earth
