Just before they entered Ena, Deidara drove the motorcycle into a ditch.

"Is that to cover up our trail?" Asked Y/n. "Remove evidence of where we've been?"

"No," Said he. "I just wanted to drive a motorcycle into a ditch."

They entered Ena.

"Are there really no boba shops here?" He asked.

"Nope," She grinned.

With her leading the way for once, they wandered the sleeping streets of Ena as Y/n struggled to recall where her brother lived.

"Hopefully they'll let us in," She said and checked her phone. It was almost 3:00 a.m. She led Deidara up an incline, past a church and a convenience store, past many old houses that were clustered close together. Then, they reached the top of the hill. "This is it," She said. There sat a quaint little home with white walls and blue accents.

Deidara walked over to the edge of the hill to overlook the scenery. Y/n joined him and admired the wobbly reflection of the moon in the water of the rice paddies. A cool breeze fluttered through the gaps between her fingers.

"That's a lot of rice," Was Deidara's only comment.

She turned around and walked up the front steps. She noticed that the porch had two wicker chairs with blue outdoor pillows and she smiled. She knocked on the door.

"They might not even answer," Deidara said.

Y/n knocked harder for an extended period of time, and eventually, the lock clicked.

The door slowly opened, and revealed a woman in her pajamas rubbing sleep out of her eyes. She was very irritated, but when she recognized who it was that stood at her door, she lit up.

"Y/n!" The older woman exclaimed. She pulled her into a tight embrace.

"Izumi!" She sighed and buried her nose into her hair.

They pulled apart, grinning widely at each other. "What are you doing?" Izumi asked. "And who's that?"

Y/n beckoned Deidara to join them on the porch. "This is my sister-in-law, Izumi. And this is Deidara."

"The teenage terrorist?"

"Don't call me that," He said quickly.

"So you're not a terrorist?" She asked.

"No, I am,"

"Then you're not a teenager?"

"No, I am,"

"Then why can't I call you a teenage terrorist?" Izumi pressed.

"Because I'm a terrorist who is in his teenage years." He said. "Not a teenage terrorist."

Izumi nodded. "I see. Big difference."

Deidara folded his arms and gave her a cynical look. "Are you being sarcastic?"

She folded her arms as well. "About as sarcastic as you are."

"I'm not being sarcastic," He insisted.

"Exactly."

Deidara blinked.

Y/n impatiently said, "Can we just go to sleep?"

Izumi warmly welcomed them inside. The house was decorated very cheerfully, and every decoration was meticulously arranged. Floor plants were snuggled in every corner of the room.

"Would you two like anything to eat?" Izumi offered, and they both declined.

"Is my brother here?" Y/n asked.
