Chapter 14 - 𝑯𝒂𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑮𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒔 (2)

"Vegas!"

"Ah!"

"My fucking god!"

"Bastard Vegas! Stop laughing!"

"May the gods protect me!"

Pete's screamed across while he was consistently hugging Vegas, "KHUN NOO!!!" Pete screamed while all Vegas did was laugh until he was about to pass out.

"Pete! It's just the wind, it is nothing! I am here, you don't have to be scared of anything!" Vegas assured Pete but all he got was Pete's little scream.

"Vegas! If I die here, please remember to bring me back home!" Pete mumbled but Vegas stopped his steps and said, "Pete, I hate to hear this. You are not going to die." Vegas' tone was clearly like he was unhappy, and wanted to do something about it. 

Pete fell into silence, "I was just joking...V-Vegas-" Pete said, but Vegas wasn't responding to him at all, he was being so quiet.

"Hmm... Vegas?" Pete lean forward, and swing his legs back and forth while Vegas was piggy backing him on his back, "Vegas?" Pete called out again and this time he leans in to kiss Vegas' cheeks, "It's a joke-"

"I hate saying goodbyes, you know that. Why-"

Pete jumped off Vegas' back and walked right in front of him and said "Vegas! It's a joke, I am not going to die." 

Vegas frowned, but this time it was Pete who lean forward to kiss his lips as his forehead leans against Vegas, "I will stay with you till whenever."

The sky was turning dark and everyone is now back at the main haunted villa with no clues on how to get out, "Fuck! The ghost is coming!" Porsche screams in horror as he clings to Kinn for god knows how long has it been as Kinn was already looking like he has drained all his blood off his body.

Kim was hugging Porchay as he lets Porchay stands in the front and he hugs him behind. "P'Kim, if the ghost comes they are after me!" Porchay frowns but Kim was also afraid at this point.

The only chilling person in this entire place is Vegas, his left hand was tightly wrapped against Pete's waist while his right hand was ruffling against Pete's hair to give him all the securities he needed.

"How are we getting out?" Kinn asked as he looked at Vegas, 

"Burn the place down, I am sure Big Brother will freak out and will dash in," Vegas said as everyone stared at him as if he was from outer space speaking in an alien language, 

"It's our ancestors' place!" Kinn frowned as he said

"Ancestors will be angry and the ghost will come haunting us!" Porsche shouted out in horror while he threw dead stares toward Vegas.

"Oh nice, we will be burned alive," Kim said sarcastically. 

Vegas eyed at the door and Tankhun was sitting outside having food! Pete got out of his grip and dashed towards the door, slamming out loud "Khun Noo! Let us out, this is not fun anymore! It's turning dark!" Pete shouted.

"The keys are in the 3 external villas, Kinn and Porsche go to the first villa, Kim and Porchay go to the second villa, and Vegas, Pete you shall go to the 3rd villa! There is something in! Food is also prepared inside, now go." Tankhun said as he waved his hands and walked away.

Pete covered his eyes at one corner while Vegas was busy finding the clues in that damn place, it was dusty, huge and insects crawling around.

"Pete?" Vegas calls out Pete's name every few minutes to ensure that he is still around, and Pete's little voice will just answer Vegas.

"Hm... What's that?" Vegas asked as he picked up a piece of old paper, the words seems to be almost faded and the paper has torn sides, Pete dashed over and hugged Vegas tightly from behind and looked at the paper with him.

The curse will be lifted from the ring when the true love appears.

Else the ring needs to be destroyed.

Believe but don't blindly follow the Theerapanyakul's family rules

Vegas turned the paper but there was nothing else, 

"The family ring? It must be destroyed?" Pete asked out in confusion as he unconsciously touched the minor family ring that was on his neck.

"What a lot of bullshit. Theerapanyakul's family ring was the reason why there was a main and minor family ring and the next thing this damn letter is asking me to destroy it? More like it's a joke from big brother." Vegas said as he threw the paper on one side and Pete walked over to one side and found a box with a lock on it.

"Key, Vegas!" 

Vegas threw things around and found a few pairs of keys lying around and he picked a few keys and handed them over to Pete.

Pete tried a few keys and finally managed to open up the box and it was a few more letters left in the box, Pete takes the time to open each and every letter but the content was getting weirder each time. 

"Run when you can."

"There is nothing good about the Theerapanyakul family."

"The family ring is a curse and it needs to be destroyed."

"Only true love that passes the test, the curse will be lifted from the ring."

Pete was getting confused with the letters, it doesn't look forged because everything on the letter was with seal and date stamps, there were blood inks on it so it's not a prank by Tankhun.

Author note: If you guys recalled the family ring played a part in the original novel on the Christmas special, so I am adding some substances to the ring + discovering something else. NO HARM, NO PAIN, ITS ALL LOVE AND FLUFF.

I feel like the family ring plays a big part and there is something about it, so that's why my intention was to let tankhun lock them up here because there was something that needs to be resolved. 

I would like to apologize for the delay in the updates, I am busy with work!!! I HOPE THE CHAPTERS ARE DOING WELL. The haunted games will take a few more chapters because VP will be resolving their trauma within these few chapters
