The green eyed man walked along the shore. Hands in his pockets, his long wavy curly hair that the wind twiddled with. A slight half suppressed smile was on his lips. The cold ocean breeze started to affect. Goosebumps ran through him like electricity.
Sneezing and adorably not aware he scrunched up his nose, he tucked his sweater and clamped his hands together to make some sort of warmth in them.
"Why is it so cold? The weather man said it would be the sunniest day today." Harry mentioned to himself.
"Guess not." he sighed.
Walking even more, his boots started to get filled with sand. Annoyed, he took them off and chucked them at the steps near the road. No one was here. His subconscious kept reminding him he was stupid and naïve to fall for the weather mans trick.
Deciding to sit down, he slumped down on the sand and let his long arms shrug. He made shapes on the cold, moist sand.
"Is that suppose to be a kawaii whale?" A soft mumble stumbled out of someone's mouth.
Startled, he ripped himself off the ground and stumbled a few steps back. Staring at the girl with long purple lilac hair, he quickly gawked at the girl. She was so pale, her eyes looked mortified and exhausted; she had dark circles under her eyes. Black. She was all black. Her clothes, her shoes, her nails, her jewelry, Harry bet even her soul.
"Where did you come from?" His eyes grew wide with curiously and amazement. She was so quiet.
"I saw you throwing your boots like a crazy psycho that just went through a ruff break up. You okay sir?" She was so silent, her voice so soft and small, it was barely audible.
"I-I'm fine. Just, what are you doing here?" Harry was still thrown aback.
"The ocean reminds me of home. I've been under a lot of stress lately." she confessed. Sighing, she sat down on the sand and observed the waves as they calmly brushed up against the shore.
Harry gazed down at her. She was so calm, so gentle with things. Passionately she stared deep at the sea. He decided to just sit down next to her, what harm could be done?
"What's your name?" He had to ask such a question.
"Penelope, and yours?" She turned her head to him.
He hadn't realized how beautiful this girl was. Sure she looked tired and sloppy, but even through that he noticed how incredibly adorable this girl was.
Her deep brown eyes. Her small yet plump lips. Her face filled with freckles she tried to hide with concealer. Her small yet pierced ears. Her long purple hair that was messy but looked good anyways. She had black skinny jeans on with a black channel sweater. It looked big on her but Harry knew she didn't mind. A black and white bandana wrapped around her hair, and her black and white high top converse that looked older than god.
"Harry," he breathed out.
Out of breath already? Harry thought.
"I told you why I'm here, now you tell me why you're here." She smiled so gently it made Harry blush a little.
"I needed to clear my mind. There's so much going on." he sighed, scratching the back on his head.
"Yeah, there really is." she returned her gaze at the sea.
A small appreciated feeling inside Harry stared to bubble inside. He admired how calm and relaxed this girl was, even if she had so many problems, is what he assumed.
"I like cloudy days." she looked down at the ground now, pocking small holes in the sand. Harry peered down at her, a really small smile trapped on his lips.
"How so?" His English accent was catching on.
"Cloudy days are so much fun. You can do anything. It's not raining, it's not burning sunlight, it's just perfect." she smiled a little wider.
"I guess so." Harry chuckled lowly, looking down at his feet. He wiggled his toes and dipped them inside the sand.
"Someone is having a good time." she looked at him now, the smile still there.
"Yeah, guess I am." he looked back up at her.
They both talked for a while until it started to get darker than it was. Getting up and dusting their bottoms, they glared down at their shapes.
"Whoa Harry, you're butt is pretty big." she giggled quietly. Harry echoed a loud laugh. The wind was still impacting them, both shivering.
"I guess I'll be going. Better get those boots before someone thinks they're free or the sand covers them up." she smiled.
Harry gazed at the boots that were feet away from him. He coughed and let out a suppressed laugh.
"I'm usually bare foot anyways." they both chuckled.
She waved goodbye and so did he. They both started walking away in different directions, she came right; he came left.
After parting for a while, Harty decided to look back and tell her a small knock knock joke just for the fun of it. A large smile was already planted on his lips as he turned around. But when he found no one but himself on that beach, the smile soon disintegrated.
