Writer's p.o.v

As cool violet breeze looked her foe in the eye, she-

A knock at the door. I growled slightly as I put my pen down and got off the couch. I had the apartment to myself tonight and I wanted to keep it like that.

"Who is it?" I asked roughly.

"Hath thou forgotten me already triny?" A familiar voice teased. I opened the door to see Rafiki.

"Stop calling me that." I sighed. "Come in." I stepped aside to let him in. He looked around. His gaze stopped at the multiple bowls of ice cream on the coffee table.

"That's unhealthy." He mused.

"Shut up." I mumbled and closed the door. "What do you want?" He looked at me, somewhat taken aback. He shook his head and gestured to his saddlebags.

"You said you had trouble sleeping. So I brought you some natural concoctions that can help." He explained with a smile. I raised an eyebrow.

"What's next, going to make a potion that can help me with my wing?" I muttered, looking at the bandaged limb. It was like losing it for good. If I had taken care of it in the first place....

"No. But the herbs take awhile to kick in so please eat them now." He politely ordered.

" I don't plan on sleeping for awhile." I argued.

"You need sleep. Ponies aren't really suppose to,have bags under their eyes." He poked my face then took the medicine out. It was in a bottle and the liquid was green.

"Fine." I growled. I took the bottle away, got the cork out, and chugged about half of it. The world slowly started spinning. I felt... nauseous.

"What did you... do...?" I moaned and sat down.

"I did what I had to do, to keep you safe." I felt the impact of me falling into the floor before I blacked out.
