Chapter Eight

Y/N leaned back in her seat as she zoned out. "She is wrong about us, Y/N. We are heroes." Venom speaks up after the long silence. "What if she's right? I might have saved a few people but that doesn't mean I'm really an Avenger. What if they pitied me and Natasha is the only reason I made it. She put herself on the line just to have me on the team." Y/N sighs out sadly.

"Natasha put her job on the line because she believed in you. Now it's your turn to believe in yourself. It also helps that I'm here now." Venom's deep voice filling Y/N's head. "Thanks V. I appreciate you trying to cheer me up." Y/N mumbles.

"He's not wrong. You need to believe in yourself because you are part of the team. You are an Avenger and an amazing one at that." Y/N looks up and smiles softly at Wanda. She stands and hugs the Sokovian woman.

"Thank you for coming." Y/N pulls away from the hug and pulls a seat out for Wanda. "You're my best friend, I'd drop anything for you." Wanda smiles widely. "I can always count on you for sure. Do you want something to drink or something to eat?" Y/N questions as she tried getting Wanda settled in.

"I'm okay for now. I'm just curious on why you called me?" Wanda questions. "Yelena is just slowing me down and I need to find Natasha. They took her necklace and I'm worried Natasha won't be able to protect herself from Task Master and Dreykov. They're a lot stronger than they were when she first defeated them." Y/N explained. "Who is Yelena?" Wanda asks as she leans back in her seat. Her eyes turn red but was unnoticed by Y/N, who was looking down at her drink. "She's Natasha's sister. She called her friend Kate in and I think they're gonna slow us down." Y/N shrugs. 

"I think you don't like what she said about you earlier and you want to prove her wrong." Wanda smirks when Y/N's head shoots up and glares at her. "Don't look in my head." Y/N points with playful anger. "Venom told me. I can't get into your thoughts but I can get into his." Wanda crosses her arms. "That's still intrusive because his thoughts are mine that he's stealing." Y/N smiles. She bit her lip as she looked Wanda up and down and let her thoughts run wild. 

"Stop that" Wanda sits up and crosses her legs. Her eyes flickering from red and back to her normal green. "Stop what? I don't know what you're talking about." Y/N smirks as Wanda kept shaking her head. "Stop that. We want Yelena." Venom growls so both of them can hear her. "A little fun never hurt nobody." Y/N tells Venom in her head, knowing Wanda was listening. "Bathroom." Is all Wanda says before she stands and makes her way to the bathroom. Y/N stood and followed two minutes later. "Dirty" Venom shakes his head. 

Time Skip

Yelena groaned when she woke up the next morning to Kate hitting her in the face. "Move" Yelena pushes Kate away from her before climbing off the bed. She looked around and frowned when she noticed Y/N wasn't around. "Hey, did Y/N come back last night?" Yelena kicks the bed and Kate groans. "Not that I am aware of." Kate mumbles before going back to sleep. Yelena walks out of the room and towards the living room and looks around. She notices that Y/N's things are gone and her heart starts beating fast. 

She started pacing as she tries thinking about where Y/N could be or what could have happened to her. "Suka" She spits as she hits her forehead. Her words. What she said about Y/N must've made her leave. She knew Y/N had a habit of taking things very personal and will try prove them wrong. "She's so sensitive." Yelena kicks the couch before putting her jacket on and grabbing keys from the counter. Rick had managed to get Yelena a motorcycle from them to travel around easier. "I'll be back Kate." Yelena yells before she quickly leaves. 

"You know Natasha is gonna be mad that you left her sister by herself in Mexico right?" Wanda asks as they walked towards the house that Natasha had pinged to her necklace. "Yelena can handle herself." Y/N shrugs before she climbs the fence. Wanda uses her power to fly over it and Y/N looks at her. "Why didn't you just use your powers to fly us there?" Y/N looks at Wanda with an annoyed expression on her face. "The same reason you didn't use Venom to run there." Wanda shrugs. 

They kept walking but Wanda stopped all of a sudden and Y/N felt tingles through her body. "Venom." Y/N looked around. "Too many heartbeats to count." Venom slowly absorbs Y/N's body as he looked around. "That's gonna take some time to get used to." Wanda mumbles before red orbs covered her hands. "It's show time!" Y/N yells before she was being shot at...

Yelena groans when she lands on the ground. She had jumped over the fence before she shot up when she heard Y/N yell, "It's show time!" and gunshots went off. Kate groaned when she flipped over the gate wrong and landed on her back. "Air" She gasps out as she reaches for Yelena. Yelena takes off running towards the gunfire and quickly ducks when a body is thrown her way. 

"WE DON'T NEED YOU!" Venom yells as he turns to her with his hands on his hips. Gunfire not effecting him at all. "Where the hell have y'all been?" Yelena yells angrily as she shoots back at the people. "You hurt Y/N so we left."  Venom throws another body at Yelena and Yelena grunts. "You're so dramatic!" Yelena yelled as she threw her empty clip at Venom, trying not to laugh as it bounced off his head. "You hurt her and nobody hurts Y/N without me! Go away!" Venom throws a headless body at Yelena again and she groans. 

"Stop throwing dead people at me." She yells. Kate comes running and starts shooting arrows around them. Wanda lands next to Venom and flicks her wrists at Yelena, watching as she flies into a tree. "Hey! That wasn't nice." Kate says as she points her bow at Wanda. The gunfire seizing as Venom kills the final person. Venom going back into Y/N fully satisfied with his kills. 

"You leave and you call in... Who are you?" Yelena stands and points at Wanda. "She's helping me find Natasha because apparently you would rather be alone than work with me." Y/N shrugs as she starts walking towards the house that wasn't too far from them. "You need to learn to control your emotions. They're going to get you killed." Yelena mumbles. "My emotions are very well under control. You don't have to follow me anymore. You can take Kate Bishop and your little motorcycle somewhere else and find Natasha yourself. You've only gotten this far because of me. Thank you for using me but I think I'll be fine with Wanda. She makes better company than you anyways." Y/N smiles sarcastically, hurting inside from her words. 

Yelena glares at Y/N before she throws her gun at Y/N's head. "Ow you bitch!" Y/N grunts as she turns to Yelena and glares. "Okay, let's all just calm down now. We still need to find Natasha. I mean, these people are with Dreykov right? That means he got here first and Natasha might be in danger." Kate tries reasoning with them. Y/N and Yelena glare at each other for a second before Yelena looks away. "Aha! I win!" Y/N cheers. "Suka" Yelena mumbles as they continue to walk. "I know what that means" Y/N looks back with a glare. 

"She called you a bitch" Venom laughs...
