Chapter Five

Y/N leaned back in her office chair and watched her security footage. She was looking for any sign of her best friend but hours and hours of footage, she still wasn't finding a single thing. "Why did you have me come here, Nat." Y/N whispers out loud. Her head pounding from the frustration of finding nothing and the lack of sleep. She had been skimming through her footage since they had gotten there, and it was now getting to her.

"Natasha wouldn't want the cameras to see her if she was on the run. The only time she wants them to see her is when she wants it to happen. Is there somewhere she would go to when she was here?" Y/N looks up at her doorway and looks at Yelena. Y/N thinks before she stands up and walks out her office, heading towards her backyard. She made her way over to the pond that she had. She looked around before her eyes caught something laying at the bottom of it. She took her shoes off and dove into it. She swam towards the bottom and grabbed the necklace that Natasha never took off.

"She never took this off. I gave this to her on her birthday. She didn't want anything from anyone but I never listen when she tells me something. I spent my first S.H.I.E.L.D. check on it. I brought it to Tony and had him add holographic pictures of us. She could change them with a computer." Y/N explained as she opened the necklace and watched as the pictures of them popped up. She smiled and had to bite back her sadness.

"Her computer is in her room. I was going through it to find something but there wasn't anything on it." Yelena explains. "There's definitely something on here." Y/N says. She had never been so serious but she felt like she was close to finding her best friend. Yelena looked over Y/N's features and felt her heart race a little. She didn't like this feeling but she couldn't control it like she usually could. 

Y/N walked into Natasha's old room and grabbed the computer and brought it to her office. She connected it to her TV and the necklace immediately connected to the computer when it booted up. Before they could click on anything, a video popped up, and Y/N smiles when Natasha pops onto the screen.

"I know you're looking for me Y/N/N. You're the only person I know that wouldn't give up on me. I need you to find Yelena, my sister, she knows about Dreykov. She will help you, but don't annoy her. She will hit you." Natasha pauses with a chuckle. "I've put the coordinates to where I am on the necklace. Bring that back to me when you get here." Natasha says before the screen went black. "That warning would've been useful before I found you." Y/N mumbles before she opened the necklace again.

"At the bottom of the screen. In the corner." Venom speaks up. His hand coming out and point at the spot. "Thank you V." Y/N says as she zooms in on the picture and chuckles. "Where is that?" Yelena asks. "New Mexico." Y/N tells her. She stuffed the necklace in her pocket and turns to Yelena with a big smile on her face. "You ever been to New Mexico?" Y/N questioned. "No" Yelena tells her.

Y/N smirks before lifting her hand and made a pound it gesture. "I am going to get you so drunk so that you'll finally admit you loved my compliment." Yelena shook her head and walked away. "Your compliments are horrible and any woman that falls for it, is just as stupid." Yelena says before walking into her room and packing their stuff.

"If it was me, I would have had her already." Venom chuckles. "oh yeah? Give it your best shot big guy." Y/N says before walking into Yelena's room. "Venom has something to say." Y/N says before shifting into Venom. "Still not use to that." Yelena mumbles as she looked over Venom. "Yelena, the way that you hurt Y/N is such a beautiful thing. It really brings out your killer instinct and it's so hot." Venom smiles. Yelena stared at Venom with a blank expression on his face before she started smiling. "You really think so?" Yelena asks. "Definitely. You make Y/N look like a bitch and it's a major turn on. If I had a penis like Y/N, I would be hard." Venom says before Y/N took over again. "That is actually working on you? Him getting turned on when you hurt me?" Y/N stared at Yelena shocked.

"He notices me." Yelena jokes. "I hate you guy so much." Y/N says before walking away. "You told her you'd be hard and she enjoyed it. What do you have that I don't?" Y/N asks Venom. "A sense of humor." Venom laughs. "What are you talking about? I'm literally Ryan Reynolds in female form." Y/N tells Venom. "Don't lie to yourself. You're like Channing Tatum in 21 Jump Street. Pretty to look at but dumb ass hell." Yelena speaks up as she walks towards the front door. She stopped when an alarm went off and Y/N looked up at the camera.

"YELENA GET DOWN!" Y/N runs towards Yelena and turns into Venom, throwing herself over the Russian as an explosion threw them through the wall into her kitchen. Y/N groans when she's throw out of Venom and lands on top of the counter. She rolls off when bullets start flying through her house. "Yelena!?" Y/N yells. "I'm good!" Yelena yells back. Y/N lets out a breath before she pulls her guns out. "Where's Venom!?" Y/N questions. 

"He absorbed into me! My guns are in the dining room!" She yells. "You don't need them. Let Venom take control! He'll keep you safe!" Y/N tells her. She doesn't hear anything and goes to stand but stops when Venom roars loudly. "Y'all done fucked up." She laughs before standing and starts shooting the people that made their way into her house. 

She smirks when she sees Taskmaster standing in her living room. "I guess this is a rematch." Y/N says before placing her guns down and walking towards them. Taskmaster swinging first but Y/N ducks and throws punches at her stomach. She groans when she kicked in the face and flies back into the wall. "Forgot you were enhanced." Y/N groans. She watches as Taskmaster closed her arms in an X and claws popped out. "That's not fair!  I can't that!" Y/N pointed. 

"No time for jokes." Venom says before flying from Yelena's body and back into Y/N's. "My turn." Y/N smirks before she was absorbed by Venom and laughed when Taskmaster took a step back. "You look delicious." Venom speaks before stretching his arm and smacking Taskmaster through the wall and out into the yard. 

Venom walked out and looked around when he didn't see them laying there anymore. "Well that fight was lame." Y/N says as Venom goes back into Y/N's body. Yelena walks out and looks around. "I'm guessing they were here for the necklace." Yelena says as she picks up the necklace but it didn't have the locket on it anymore. "Shit. We gotta get there to tell Natasha." Y/N says before she ran back into the house to grab their things. "Charlotte doesn't look so good." Yelena says. 

"Charlotte!?"
