Chapter Four

"How did you get over Natasha's death?" Yelena questions. "I didn't. I threw myself into to work and kept to myself. The others wanted me to open up but how do you do that when your person died?" Y/N looked at Yelena. "She was the only reason I joined the Avengers. She trained me how to do it all." Y/N finishes.

"She liked to act like she wasn't lovable and love was for children. The Red room implemented that into her head but she told me that I changed her way of thinking." Y/N smiles. "You guys were together?" Yelena shook her head the feeling of her heart beat picking up. 'What is this feeling?' Yelena thinks.

"No. We were best friends that some times slept together." Y/N shrugs. "Yeah right! You were in love with her." Venom pops out. "And the truth comes to light." Yelena mumbles. "I thought I was in love with her but she loved someone else. I wasn't gonna get in the way of that." Y/N felt like she had to explain herself.

"We were taught love is for children but I always wanted it. I wanted a loving family and that was taken from me. Now I just want a dog." Yelena chuckles. "Dogs are yummy." Venom licks his gums and slobber falls onto Y/N's lap.

"That got morbid fast. Go away Venom. You're drooling on me." Y/N pushed Venom's head back towards her body and sighs when he goes back in with no questions. "I like him." Yelena chuckles.

"You have a pretty smile." Y/N compliments. Yelena looks over at Y/N funny before turning back to the sky. "I'm guessing nobody has complimented you before?" Y/N asks. "That's what you call a compliment? I thought you were smoother than that." Yelena laughs. Y/N smirks before leaning forward and putting the jet in autopilot.

"Tell me what I'm doing wrong." Y/N smiles. "You're no holding eye contact and I'm not interested." Yelena smirks back. "You don't have to be interested for me to compliment you. You want to look out at the empty sky instead of looking at me. That hurts. I have feelings too." Y/N playfully sniffles.

"Is it your time of month?" Yelena looks at Y/N funny. "I don't get my time of month." Y/N leans back in her seat and turns her head to look at Yelena. "You had the surgery too?" Yelena questioned. "No. I have a penis." Y/N chuckles. Yelena's head snapped towards Y/N again. "How is that possible?" Yelena questions.

"Somewhere along the lines, my chromosomes got lost in the college phase, and chose both." Y/N jokingly explains. "I don't believe you." Yelena tells her. "You want me to whip it out or something? I believe that's harassment." Y/N responds. "Prove it." Yelena states Y/N in the eyes as she says it.

"You're so intimidating." Y/N covered her eyes before standing up. "I usually don't get naked for a girl until the second date but I'll make an exception for you." Y/N says before unbuckling her pants and pulling them down to show the bulge in her briefs.

Yelena looks before turning back around and taking the jet off autopilot. "I don't know if I feel more rejected or humiliated." Y/N says. "Both" Venom speaks. "Shut up. Nobody asked you." Y/N growls. "How do you want me to react? You showed me and I believe you." Yelena tells her.

Y/N doesn't say anything and takes a seat but refuses to look at Yelena. She hadn't felt this way in forever and it hurt her a little. "Stop sulking. I don't see you any different. You still annoy me." Yelena tells Y/N. Y/N looks at Yelena and nodding her head. "I think it's my period." Y/N mumbles. Yelena let out a chuckle before she laughed. Y/N smiles before shaking her head. "I knew I could get you to laugh" Y/N chuckles.

Time Skip

Y/N groaned as she stretched when she got off the jet. Yelena rolled her eyes as she grabs Y/N's bike and slowly pushes it off the jet. "Could at least help me." Yelena mutters. "Right." Y/N says before taking Charlotte from Yelena and starting it and speeding off the ramp. She laughed before patting the frame. "You treat me so good Charlotte." Y/N whispers.

"Do you need a minute or can we go?" Yelena points towards the road ahead of them. "Don't worry she doesn't mean it." Y/N whispers. "I should've chose you, Lena." Venom comes out of Y/N's body and looks at Yelena. Yelena nods her head before climbing onto the bike and wrapping her arms around Y/N.

Y/N tried ignoring the butterflies in her stomach but Venom made it hard. "You like her. She cause this fluttering feeling in our stomach." Venom tells Y/N in her head. "Shut up." Y/N whispers. "I didn't say anything." Yelena hits Y/N's stomach softly. "I was talking to Venom." Y/N says before she takes off on the bike, laughing as she lifts up the front wheel a little with her take off.

Y/N spots a diner and pulls into it. She climbs off the bike and Yelena looks around. "I'm starving and I'm not trying to have a parasite eat my insides." Y/N explains. "Parasite!? I will eat your insides! Apologize!" Venom yells. "Okay. I'm sorry." Y/N laughs.

They sat down and Yelena sighs as she drinks her beer. Y/N sips her water and sighs. "Why aren't you drinking?" Yelena questions. "I don't drink. Venom doesn't like it." Y/N tells her. "You have to change around your eating for him?" Yelena smiles as she sees the food coming. "Yeah. If he doesn't like it, I won't like it. We've got a mutual bond. What I feel he feels and so on." Y/N shrugs before thanking the waiter for the food.

Y/N eats her food quickly and Yelena snorts at the sight. "Slow down. You're gonna upset your stomach." Yelena tells her. Y/N nods her head before slowing down. "Where were you when Dreykov got you?" Yelena asks.

"I was in San Francisco doing a mission. I went into the warehouse and it was too late for me to get out. They surrounded me and I was tortured for months." Y/N looks anywhere but at Yelena. "That's when you found out that Natasha might be alive?" Yelena leans back and looks at Y/N.

"You get this gut feeling when someone you love dies. I didn't feel that when Natasha didn't come back. I felt empty at first but after we defeated Thanos and returned the stones, that feeling went away. I knew she came back but I doubted it and just thought it was my mind playing tricks on me." Y/N sighs as she thought about it.

"Did you join the Avengers because you loved my sister?" Y/N looks at Yelena and slowly nodded her head. "All she had to do was smile at me and I was like putty in her hands. I followed her around like a puppy and when she told me that she had feelings for Bruce, I knew I didn't stand a chance. We slept around but that was after Bruce disappeared after Ultron. She was trying to cover her pain with sex and I was more than willing to give her that." Y/N explains.

"Why didn't you tell her?" Yelena asks. "I tried but she told me she didn't want to hurt me. She told me that I can't admit it to her or things would change between us. I didn't want that so I never told her and got over her. I moved to San Francisco and worked at the S.H.I.E.L.D. there. I met someone but they turned out to be working for Hydra and they were using me." Y/N looks out the window.

Yelena didn't question Y/N anymore and finished her food. "Let's go. It's about to get dark and my security system kicks in soon." Y/N says. She pays for their food and they both leave. The ride to Y/N's safe house quiet but not awkward.

Time Skip

Y/N punched in the code to her gate and the doors open enough to let her through. She drives up the house and smiles. She lets Yelena climb off first before she goes to her front door.

She opens the door and let Yelena walk in first before she follows her in. "This place is huge." Yelena looks around. "Took forever to build. Steve, Clint, and Natasha helped me build it." Y/N takes Yelena's bag and starts walking upstairs. "Natasha slept in this room." Y/N places the bag on the bed and smiles at Yelena.

"There's no food but I can have some ordered for us if you get hungry. The bathroom is just in there and clothes are in there." Y/N points around before leaving the room. She was upset that Natasha wasn't here but there has to be a reason Natasha told her to come here.

There has to be.
