I groggily followed the brothers off the train and over to a phone booth. Between yawns I heard Ed and Roy bickering. I couldn't concentrate very well on their words, though. I don't think I've ever been so tired in my life. Maybe it's because I actually slept well on the train? Well, whatever the reason, I seriously needed to find somewhere to crash and soon.

"Whatever. We'll get back on the train, then. Bye." Edward growled and slammed the phone back on the receiver. He turned to Al and said, "Back on the train. We're off to Youswell."

"Why?" Al questioned.

"To check the coal mines. Fun." Ed growled.

I yawned and fumbley followed them to the ticket booth and then to a bench. As soon as I sat down, Al rested a hand on my shoulder.

"Lindsey? Are you alright?"

I nodded and yawned. Damn, I just can't wake up!

"I'm fine. Just-" A loud ringing cut my sentence short and Edward stood.

"Finally, the train is here! Let's hurry and get this over with."

"Lead the way, brother."

I hadn't noticed the left until the ringing returned. My eyes shot open- wait, when did they close? Did I fall asleep on the bench?! I ran off towards the nearest train as the whistle pierced the air. I sighed and looked through the cart for the boys.

"..... Why am I the only one on this train?" I asked aloud.

*on another train on the next track over*

"Where's Lindsey?" Alphonse asked, looking around.

"She was right behind us, wasn't she?" Edward peeked down the aisle, "You don't think she-"

"Brother!"

Alphonse was pointing at the window urgently. Ed placed his hands on the window and gawked.

"She got on the wrong train!" They yelled together.

~~~~~~~
"Damn..." I slumped into my seat, "I got on the wrong train. Guess that's what I get for actually sleeping well."
I sighed and closed my eyes. I suppose I can go back to sleep now, seeing how I keep yawning every five minutes. Let's hope I wake up when the train stops.
Wherever it stops...
~~~~~~~

"Daddy, stop! Please!"

"You both must be punished for what you have done!"

"No, please- NOOOO!"

My body jerked harshly as the train stopped suddenly. The whistle ceased once I stepped off the train. It quickly took off as I took a few steps into the town.

Er, well, I think it was a town?

Even with the harsh sun, the entire town was dark and gloomy. Empty streets, closed doors, and boarded up windows. I stood by what I assumed used to be a fountain and sighed.

"Where the hell did I end up?"

"Stonebrook."

I jumped back about ten feet and let out a, "What the hell!"

"I said, you're in Stonebrook." A grumpy voice spat. A tall man stood next to me with a blank expression on his face. He had short, dark grey hair and cold eyes. He wore a black coat over a white shirt and dark pants. The man glared down at me and crossed his arms.

"Why the hell are you here, anyway?" He asked.

"Wrong train." I crossed my arms and mimicked his glare, "Do you always greet visitors this way?"

"We don't get visitors."

"I can see why..." I glanced around at the gloomy town.

"Might as well get used to it. The next train doesn't come by until next week." The man shrugged and began to walk off towards a building.

"Next week?! You've got to be kidding me!" I yanked my hair furiously and growled, "Why did I get on the wrong train?!"

I noticed that the man had disappeared. 'Did he go inside a building?' I thought, 'Crap, now I'm all alone in some random place. Perfect.'

I walked back over to the 'fountain' and sat down beside it. Completely lost on what to do next, I closed my eyes and leaned my head back against the crumbling stone. I let my mind wander, seeing if I could figure a way to Youswell.

"I think I'll keep you."

"No, don't think of him..." I growled, but it was too late. His face appeared in my mind, along with his cocky grin and smart ass attitude. His soft voice. His lavender eyes...

"I'll protect you, no matter what."

"..... Eric... Where are you?" I felt a few tears sting my eyes as crimson blood replaced Eric's smiling face.

"Please... Save me..."
