Cal and Adeline were on their private promenade deck eating breakfast when Cal spoke up. "I was hoping you would come to me last night."

"I was tired." Adeline replied.

"It's no doubt that your activities below deck were exhausting." Cal said.

"I see you had that man-servant valet of yours follow me." Adeline said, placing her tea down on the table.

"You will not behave like that again Adeline. Do you understand me?"

"I'm not a foreman at one of your mills that you can command, I'm your fiancé."

Cal stood up. "My fiancé."

He stood up and started throwing and flipping things off of the table. "Yes, you are my fiancé! You are my wife!" Cal yelled, flipping the table over in the process. He walked over to where Adeline was sitting and looked her in the face.

"You are my wife in practice, if not by law so, you will honor me! You will honor me the way a wife is required to honor a husband. And I will not be made a fool of. Is in any way unclear?"

Adeline shook her head no, as she was trembling from Cal screaming at her and flipping the table over.

"Excuse me." Cal said before leaving. He left and Adeline slumped out of her seat and into the floor, trying to clean up the mess Cal had made. Trudy came rushing over to clean everything up though.

"I'm sorry, we had an accident." Adeline said as tears formed up in her eyes.

"It's all right Miss." Trudy said.

Adeline started crying as she was terrified and upset all at the same time. Trudy comforted her for a while before cleaning everything up. Adeline had gone to get dressed for the day and Trudy followed her, seeing as someone had to lace up her corset.

Narcissa was in the sitting room when she heard all of this. She glared at her husband. "Did you not hear all of that, or are you deaf?" Narcissa snapped.

"I did. Maybe Hockley is just having a bad morning so far."

Narcissa stood up. "I can't hardly even look at you right now." She said before heading to her daughter's room.

Narcissa opened the door. "Tea Trudy." She said.

"Yes miss." Trudy left and Narcissa closed the door. She walked over to her daughter and began to finish lacing up her corset.

"I'm so sorry, Adeline."

"What?"

"I'm sorry that your father's putting you through this, and how Hockley has been acting. And it's just that Hockley screaming at you reminded me of how my mother screamed at your Aunt Andromeda when she left." Narcissa said, small tears starting to roll down her cheeks.

Adeline turned around and hugged her mother. "I'm sorry your reminded of that." Narcissa sniffled and wiped away her tears.

"It's alright." She said.

Little did Narcissa and Adeline know that Lucius had heard their conversation.

Later, Adeline and Narcissa walked out into the sitting room where Cal, Draco, Astoria, and Lucius were waiting for them for their tour of the ship.

As they walked along the top deck for a tour of the ship with Mr. Andrews, Adeline was dragged into a room by her wrist. Once she saw who it was, she turned to leave.

"Adeline, wait." Harry said, dragging her back towards him.

"Harry I'm engaged. I'm marrying Cal, I love Cal."

"Do you? Because they've got you trapped Adeline, and you're going to die if you don't break free. Maybe not right away because your strong. But the fire that I love about you Adeline, that fire's eventually going to burn out."

"I'm not an idiot, I know how the world works. I have ten pounds in my pocket, I have nothing to offer you and I know that. I just can't turn away without knowing you'll be alright."

"I'm fine, I'll be fine really. I'm going back- leave me alone." Adeline said before walking out of the room.

She caught up to Cal and her parents and continued walking along the deck with them. "Where were you?" Draco whispered.

"I- I had to take care of something." She replied.

Draco nodded and continued to walk with Astoria. They were now near the lifeboats when Adeline spoke up. "Mr. Andrews, it seems like the number of lifeboats you mentioned times the capacity, forgive me but there wouldn't be enough for everyone aboard."

"Actually half. Why you miss nothing do you Adeline? The original plan was to have more boats, but some thought the deck would look too cluttered, so I got overruled." Mr. Andrews said.

"It's already a waste of deck space on an unsinkable ship." Lucius said.

"If the ship is made out of Iron, she very well can sink father." Adeline snapped. It was like she had broken out of character or something, which was why Draco was a bit surprised Adeline had even said anything.

"That's no way to speak to your father." Cal whispered to her.

"I'm sorry I don't know what came over me, I just think mother and I will be heading downstairs for tea now."

So Narcissa and Adeline did just that, they walked downstairs for tea and talked with Molly Brown while they were there.

Adeline felt bad for snapping at Harry like that and looked over as she saw a young girl placing a napkin on her lap and using perfect etiquette, and if the girl didn't do so her mother would snap at her.

Adeline realized she didn't want her future children to grow up like that, and she knew what she had to do, she had to talk to Harry.
