The sound of Tammy Thompson's dreadful singing filled the speakers of the gym.
You slumped further into the uncomfortable bench that was the bleachers. Resting your head on Jessie's shoulder, you closed your eyes and sighed.
"Is her horrible singing, giving you a headache too, huh?" his shoulder jerked up, causing you to groan and send the handsome guy a glare.
"Yes... Asshole..." You mumbled shoving his shoulder before gesturing to the girl.
"I mean how can, she butcher such a song? Seriously!?" Snickering, Jessie cast his eyes down.
"She sounds like a muppet if you ask me." You raised an eyebrow.
"Muppet?"
Not too far along the other side of the gym, Robin and Steve were having the same conversation.
"Told you. Muppet." The boy's silent statement earned him an eye roll from the girl.
"Okay, she does sound like a muppet." She whispered a little too loudly.
The girl beside her snickered, causing robin's eyes to drop from Steve to the redhead next to her.
Trailing his eyes to the girl next to him, Steve knew he made a bad decision. He had been making horrible decisions since a child. But it seemed that the older he got the worse they became. He wanted to look anywhere but at Brenda.
That is when his eyes once again found you. Whispering something in that no for good jock. Scoffing loudly, his eyes harden at the sight and once again tried to look at Brenda.
Nope.
He couldn't do it.
"It sucks, working with those two... What? I'm serious!"
Jessie's laughter was beginning to piss you off.
"No... No... Sorry, I understand. It's just... why? I mean I was on the same team as Steve. He's a good guy." You snapped your eyes toward the guy.
"Well...he...well...I...hmm..." You had no words, none at all.
"See-"
"Sush. I've thought of something... He flirts with every girl that comes into the store. It's like he's practically asking to be fucked... Like come on, have some self-respect at least... Plus my ears can't take it anymore. One more awful attempt from him and my ears will bleed." Jessie's eyebrows raised in amusement. His ex-teammate was desperate.
"Wow."
"Yeah it's true he tried flirting with Beckie and I, what was it last week? Bobby?" Jean beside you called to him.
"Yeah, it was" The boy next to Jessie commented.
"See I told you." You sassed.
Nodding his head, Jessie's green eyes trailed through the crowd until they found the brunet. Seeing the look of disgust swirling through his eyes. As he studied his 'date'. Jessie felt sorry for the guy. But that was Steve Harrington, for ya.
