Chapter 27 - The Bell at Last! : Gold, Gold, Gold!

The ship suddenly got really close to the small cloud island we were on before. I had managed to escape Eneru's grasp, but he just grabbed my wrist so I couldn't just rip it like I did my shirt.

The ship stopped and Eneru jumped off, pulling me with him. My wrists were still severely hurt, which I forgot until he was yanking me around.

He landed on his two feet while I landed on my stomach just behind him. He stood straight, causing me to stand up, ignoring the pain in my wrist the best I could.

Eneru started walking towards the middle of the cloud until I noticed something... amazing.

The Golden Belfry!

I struggled and pulled my camera out of my bag with one hand and took a pic. I shoved the camera back in and lightly put the photo in the pocket of my baggy shorts.

It was bigger than I thought, covered in vines and almost bigger than the Merry, not including the two massive pillars on the side of it.

Somehow, after being up here for over 800 years, I couldn't see any signs of rust at all. Absolutely incredible. 

Eneru yanked at my wrist and we went closer. Once we got to the top of these gold steps, Eneru turned towards where everyone was. I took a few steps of distance until I noticed something.

Letters. Familiar ones. They look like a Ponyglyph! I rushed to where I saw them, pulling my camera out in the process.

I took a quick picture and heard Eneru grumble something.

"... impatient they are."

'Luffy?! Nami?!' I ran over to where he was and stood next to him in a ready position.

There they were, climbing up together on the waver.

"I have no choice then."

 Suddenly his whole body started glowing before growing in size. I ran away and hid beside the spot that had the Ponyglyph. As Eneru was growing, I glanced over the words.

I could understand a little bit, from reading Robin's journals, but I recognized the Name of Gold D. Roger, the King of the Pirates. He said something about leaving the Ponyglyphs all over the world.

I looked back to see Luffy and Eneru yelling at each other. and I didn't realize it, but once my hand felt wet, I noticed I was crying.

I wanted this to be over. I wanted to see the crew again and forget this adventure ever happened. When I looked back, tears still fresh on my face, Eneru was huge. I'm talking Jumbo-sized.

I turned to where Luffy and Nami were to see that they were nowhere to be seen, I searched and searched until a strange noise came from Eneru's attack. The ball of air and lightning, was... screaming? Wait... that sounds familiar...

"Gu...m G...um... Fir... ewo...rks!"

Holy shit. No way...He's... in there?!

"Gold peony!"

Yep, that's him. He is using the golden sphere to his advantage inside there, to destroy it from the inside out. Because he's rubber, he'll be fine, but I'm sure he's hurting a decent amount.

Man, Luffy is more battle smart than I give him credit for. Now he just has to be smart in general...

The look on Eneru's face told me that he knew what was happening as well. He knew that Luffy could actually get rid of this thing.
