(A/n : I'M SO SORRY! BLAME MY SCHOOL!

I wanted to get something out, so by the end of this week, I will finish this story, so this is a part one technically lol...

...I'm not doing the filler. I forgot and I'm sure you did too.)

It's been a week or two since Water Seven, and things have been pretty peaceful for our trip to Fishman Island.

I was sitting with Nami and Robin in the room with the Aquarium that was installed on the newly named Thousand Sunny.

I had gotten some books in Water Seven. One with everything about the Navy and World Government, another about Nature; specifically how plants affect nature, and vise versa, and one about weather; specifically in the Grand Line. It was a pirate's journal that got published.

As I was reading, Usopp, Luffy, and Chopper had some trouble in the fish tank getting the octopus for dinner, but Luffy saved him...

...After almost killing him...

I was reading the book about the World Government first and it was pretty up to date, so it had some good information.

I could now put names with faces, but as I was about to get to a page titled 'Warlords', Nami told me to join her and the others outside.

There was a barrel, tied tightly with rope with a black and red flag sticking out the top saying, 'Offering to the Gods.'

This had 'suspicious' written all over it.

I crossed my arms and sighed.

'I don't know what it is, but it definitely isn't a treasure. Maybe it truly is an offering to the gods. But if this 'God' is like the last one we encountered, I want nothing to do with it.'

I groaned and rubbed my temples as I remembered the asshole from the sky.

"Treasure! Treasure! Pieces of silver and gold! Pieces are nice and big! Nice and-" Luffy, Chopper, and Usopp were cut off from their chanting

"Nope!" Nami barked at them as I nodded my head and Robin chuckled.

"That's probably not gold, guys. It's most likely food or booze." I commented as Nami giggled.

"Exactly."

"How would you know if you haven't looked inside?" Luffy whined.

"Because if it's an offering to the gods, it's seldom gold or silver, but common delights enjoyed by the locals; hence booze or rations." I explained. Luffy still wasn't sold.

Nami crossed her arms, " This is a 'drifting barrel.' It means someone made an offering to the god of the sea in hopes of a safe voyage. 'Offering' just means it's a gift."

"That bites! So we can't do anything with it?" Usopp groaned.

"Hey! Since we picked it up, let's drink the booze!" Zoro commented as he stood up from the mast's bench.

I was going to say something to Zoro, but Usopp beat me to the punch,

"Stupid! That'll make the god's mad!" Usopp yelled as I came down the stairs and inspected the ropes.

The ropes went inside the barrel, but it was suspicious. They looked like they were holding something inside in place.

'Weird...'

"You can drink it as long as you pray first." Nami smiled as Luffy cheered.

"I don't pray to any gods." Zoro commented as he walked next to me, who was still slightly pulling on the ropes, hearing something move inside.
