Chapter 77 - (Y/N)'s Time-Skip Chronicles

Log 1: Day 1/730:

Hancock's crew dropped Hancock and I off at an uninhabited island I didn't recognize. It appeared to be a normal jungle, with normal animals and normal weather; Well, normal enough for the Grand Line. The mountain near the middle of the island had a waterfall leaving the mouth of a cave, the mountain being suspiciously tunnel-shaped.

We walked a little way into the forest, me slowly trailing behind her, and she stopped, turning to me.

"Although you are my dearest, I must go hard on you for training, so you can improve." She said, her back turned to me. I hummed an approval.

"Alright. First things first. I can sense a familiarity of Haki coming from you," She put a hand on her hip, "What forms can you control?"

"H-Haki?" [(Y/N)]

"You don't know?" She asked, and I nodded.

"I've never heard of Haki-" I paused, then widened my eyes, looking at her, "Is that what the Kuja arrows are embedded with? That sense?"

She nodded, "It appears you have zero clue on what it is. Yes, the Kuja arrows are embedded with something called Armament Haki. Although, there are three types, and that is not the type I sense from you."

"So, what are the other types?"

"Armament allows you to harden any body part, almost turning your skin into a shield. It works well against Paramecia and Zoan devil fruits, though only some Logia types."

I nodded.

"Another one, which is pretty rare, is Conquerors Haki. One in a million have this type, and It was the power we sensed at the failed execution." She explained, "Though unaware of this, your captain owns this trait, and for not knowing how to use it, it's fairly strong." She looked at the forest, "Do you remember when that wave of energy went off and all of the Kuja pirates in the stands were rendered helpless?"

I thought back to the moment, "Yes, I remember. Everyone in the stands went unconscious."

She nodded, "That was the use of Conquerors Haki. Seems Luffy can't control it. That just shows how strong it will be when he can." She mumbled something under her breath and gushed, then snapped herself out of it and turned to me, "The final one, is one I believe you've experienced already."

I raised a brow.

"(Y/N),have you ever felt like you've seen things before they happen? Or your instincts move your body for you?"

My eyes widened and she smiled.

"I'll take that as a yes. That is Observation Haki. I've sensed it from you ever since you came to this island."

She turned to me and leaned back to an absurd degree and pointed down at me, "I will train you until you are the best. I will put every ounce of effort I have into your success!"

I nodded, "Right!"

Log 16: Day 13/730:

I felt my eyelashes tickle from blinking against the blindfold which was just gingerly placed over my eyes, "And you're sure this technique will work?" I cautiously said as I could feel Hancock step away.
