After months of the rumoured relationship between of MAMAMOO's Hyemi, 26 dating defender Jung Seung-hyun, 27 RBW Entertainment has finally released a statement.

Speculations of this rumored relationship first began when eye witnesses said that Hyemi had met with Seung Hyun for a dinner together after having finished a script reading the show Hometown Cha Cha Cha, which will be start airing next week.

For a weeks after people also claimed that they had seen Hyemi at a few of Gimcheon Sangmu's games including their games against Bucheon 1995, Busan IPark and Anyang where the witnesses said that Hyemi had been sitting in the family and friends section for Sangmu.
However, until now most only deemed these claims and speculations as nothing more but now more witnesses appeared during Seung-hyun recent military break stating that they seen the two together began to appear more frequently. One such post stated "I saw Kim Hyemi at a restaurant with Jung Seung hyun, there was no one else there with them. The two of them looked very close and comfortable with each other."

After almost 9 months of speculation and rumours RBW Entertainment finally released a statement however to frustration of fans this statement did not confirm or deny anything the agency simply stated:
"Sorry but we can't answer this"
And an hour later Hyemi then went live on the Vlive app to clear up the Rumours and speculations explaining to everyone the she and Jung Seung-hyun not dating however they did date in the past but it did not work out and they decided to stay as friends as it seemed more natural.

This has left fans upset and irritated at the agency for their mismanagement towards Hyemi from blatantly ignoring the fake rumours about her and relying on Hyemi and her acquaintances to clear up the mess without help from the agency as well failing to promote Hyemi's solo activities and relying on the fans and Hyemi and the other members to promote her solo work.
