Mamamoo's Hyemi has had to temporarily move out of her apartment and into her Uncle Kim Jongkook's apartment. Hyemi and her agency RBW have filed a lawsuit against a Saesang of Hyemi who has been labeled as Mr.Lee by the Police for sexual, verbal and physical harassment.

The Seoul police added to their statement, "According to the complaint, Mr. Lee sent Hyemi various messages saying, 'I am Inside the building, Kim Soya. I can see your door through the window' and 'You're different from other celebrities, you're refreshing and make my heart flutter.' He also messaged her saying, 'I have something to tell you Kim Soya, come outside' and would knock on Hyemi's apartment door almost everyday between 9-11pm.
Furthermore, thinking that a close friend of Hyemi, who has been named Mr.S, was her boyfriend, the Saesang texted her saying things like, 'You're going to be unhappy if you get married [to him].' and 'you will never marry him. I won't let you even if it's the last thing I do'
The police also reported, "Hyemi felt sexually harassed by the comments made by the Saesang who is 28 years old toward Hyemi where he send her photos of himself and would send her messages showcasing the things he would do to her if he was ever able to get his hands on her, and Mr. Lee also tried to physically harass Mr. Kim, Hyemi's manager while he was trying to enter Hyemi's apartment, So she and her agency also filed a lawsuit."

Hyemi's Uncle Kim Jongkook and father Kim Jong Kyung shared their frustrations over Hyemi's Saesang they have both shared that Hyemi has begun having panic and anxiety attacks at night due the the trauma that Mr.Lee has caused her, Hyemi who is only 25 years old has previously been known for loving her sleep and food has been having a hard time eating and sleeping according to her father and uncle and constantly gets jumpy and scared when she hears a knock on the door.

According to the report, the Saesang is claiming, "Hyemi is taking everything out of context and is slandering the his name. The truth will soon be revealed, and he will file a lawsuit against Hyemi, her agency RWB, her Uncle, Kim Jongkook and her father, Kim JongMin, for character assassination."
