I opened my mouth as though to speak but he stopped me before I could. "No, screw that, don't answer. You said you were done!"
"I w-"
"Shut up! I don't want to hear your excuses!" He yelled, slapping it out of my hand. I watched the needle pop off and roll under the bed. Ang forcefully pulled me to my feet by my collar and slammed me into the wall. I have to admit, I was scared shitless. I have never seen him so mad before.
"You said you were clean!" He thundered, punching me. I hissed in pain but he ignored it. "You promised you'd stop!" This time, he decked me straight in the nose and I felt blood pouring down my face. "Don't you remember your overdose? I thought you hated forgetting!" Ang sneered and slapped me twice. I whimpered and he paused, his jade eyes seemingly piercing my soul. "Remember, Mal and I threatening to fire you if you ever did that again?" I nodded, tears involuntarily falling from my eyes. "Don't you dare apologize to me, you don't mean it." Ang moved closer to me, still pressing me against the wall. "Have you learned your lesson yet?" He hissed. I swallowed audibly and he obviously didn't like that because he let go and when I collapsed onto the ground, he began throwing punches everywhere he could, until I was a sobbing heap on the floor. Then, he glared at me and walked out of my room without saying a word.
