All I wanted was a peaceful summer. You know what I got instead? Two things that were definitely not peaceful.

First there's Kallie, my manipulative best friend who's absolutely determined to play Cupid with me and her brother. And it's not like we're an ideal match or anything.
Kaden's a player.
I'm pretty much done with love.

Then there's the crazy challenge with a way too high for comfort chance of me becoming my worst enemy's slave for half the summer.

The worst part is, my best friend's brother and my worst enemy are the same person. And we may or may not have a past that won't stay in the past with Kallie's schemes.

One thing's for sure; everything I've been running from will be inevitable this summer.

After Rain:

Three years is a long time. It's over a thousand days. And it should be long enough to get over someone. Not for me, though. I guess I'm messed up that way. But I knew I had to let it all go. It was over. Completely, and utterly over.

This summer was the perfect chance to move on. I could explore New York with Bells, meet new people, maybe even land a part in a movie.

Things didn't exactly go as planned.

I got the part. I just didn't expect my ex to be playing the male lead, a.k.a, my love interest. And despite the fact that things ended horribly, there's still something there.
But it's not like we can try again. Not only is this the second time around -which automatically makes things harder- this time...

This time, the world's watching.
