Hafsa's POV:
I kept looking at him weirdly because I didn't know what to answer. I mean I never thought I'll be asked something like this.
"Come on tell me. Do you think we won't love each other ever?" I sighed hearing him and shook my head.
"What?" My eyes widened when I realized what I said.
"No I didn't mean that." I said shaking my head at him and he raised his brows at me.
"I.. I have grown up seeing a relationship where they never got along. They barely shared a word with each other. So, I thought love is all just a sh***y things. It doesn't happen in reality." I said looking at him and he sighed nodding his head.
"Still you agreed to accept the proposal?" He asked and I smiled.
"I might be sounding stupid but I do exact opposite of what Abbu says. He told me not to accept your proposal but I became adamant that if I'll marry anyone then it will be you. Because Abbu doesn't like you." I said smiling at him and he was looking at me weirdly.
"Now I'm seeing a bit jhalak of that girl." He said smiling at me and I chuckled.
"Of Ms.Vocab?" He nodded his head with a smile.
"Yes. But she is not Ms.Vocab now." He said smiling widely making me chuckle.
"I know, Mr.Singer." I said smiling at him and he chuckled.
"Lie down properly." He said smiling at me and I nodded my head. I covered myself and turned to him who was looking at the ceiling with blank face. Is he worried about something?
"Are you worried about something?" I asked after some time and he turned to me then smiled.
"Can life be complete without any worries?" He asked and I shook my head.
"I don't think so." I said and he nodded his head sighing deeply.
"Leave all these things. I have something to tell you." He said turning to me while keeping his hand under his cheek and I nodded my head.
"I forgot to buy your wedding gift." He said and pressed his lips together while I was looking at him weirdly. I mean who forget this?
"You gotta be kidding me." I said and he shook his head with a sheepish smile.
"Its truth." He said smiling at me and I glared at him.
"Okay, how about this. Now as I haven't bought a gift for you, you tell me what you want as a gift and I'll buy that for you." He said smiling at me and I was looking at him.
"You can ask for anything." He said looking at me and I nodded my head.
"Does it have to be a materialistic things only?" I asked and he shook his head.
"No. As I said you can ask for anything." He said smiling widely and I nodded my head.
"I want a blank promise." I said smiling at him and he frowned.
Ahad's POV:
"Blank promise?" She nodded her head hearing me while I was confused.
"Yes. A promise which I can use some other time." She said smiling at me and I kept looking at her then nodded my head.
"Okay. If that's what you want then okay with me." I said smiling at her and she smiled widely.
"Don't back out." She said pointing her index finger at me and I smiled.
"I won't. Promise." I said linking my index finger with hers and she looked at it then rolled her eyes.
"We do our promise from our mini finger." She said showing me her small finger and I smiled.
