Ahad's POV:

"Every heart is broken in this family and holds a lot of pain in their hearts, Ahad. One generation is broken and is fed up of waiting." I kept looking at her who was saying with tears flowing down her cheeks.

"Don't make another generation like yours, love." She said removing my hand from her cheek but what she said next made me shock.

"Don't become another Danish Hannan Malik." She said and walked towards the bathroom leaving me behind in shock. I never thought like that. I never thought so far. I sat down on bed while rubbing my face. This isn't good. Oh Allah! I looked up when the door opened. I stood up when I found Ammi walking inside.

"Ammi?" I walked towards her who smiled.

"Sit down." She said holding my hand and we took our seat on the bed.

"So?" I looked at her hearing her.

"Has Shafeeq agreed?" She asked and I smiled lightly.

"Alhamdulillah yes. Don't worry." I said smiling at her and she nodded her head with a smile. Our head turned to the door of the bathroom when it opened and she came out.

"What happened, Hafsa? You okay?" Ammi asked getting up from bed and I looked at her who was looking sad.

"Yes, I'm okay, Ammi. Was just missing Ammi and Abbu all of a sudden." She said smiling lightly at her and Ammi turned to me.

"Ahad, you are taking her to her house after you come back." Ammi said looking at me and I nodded my head.

"Ji, Ammi." I said looking at her who looked down when I turned to her.

"You should have taken her to her house on your own, son. Its your responsibility." Ammi said and I nodded my head. Okay. Now its my fault.

"Okay. I'll be going now. You both come down for dinner after praying." Ammi said before leaving the room. I turned to her who took her seat next to me while playing with her fingers. I made her look at me and held her hands in mine.

"Still tensed?" I asked looking at her who kept looking at me.

"You haven't decided to back out that will reduce my tension." She said shaking her head and I sighed.

"Neither I'm deciding to do that, love. I can't leave small children dying there." I said shaking my head and she sighed.

"But you can leave your family?" I sighed hearing her.

"I trust myself. I trust my mates. I trust your duas." I said smiling lightly at her and she glared at me.

"Then why the hell did you say that stupid thing huh?" She said gritting her teeth and I smiled.

"If you wouldn't have said that, we wouldn't have argued about this." She said glaring at me and I smiled.

"If I wouldn't have said that then, I might also not have realized that I may leave coming generation to wait just like me and my gen." I said smiling at her and she shook her head.

"Don't say that please." She said shaking her head at me making me chuckle.  I wrapped my arms around her when she hugged me placing her head on my shoulder.

"I guess someone thought there isn't love in arranged marriages." I said placing my chin on her head and chuckled when she hit me on my back. After some time we pulled away and I placed a kiss on her head.

"Let's go and pray. We have to go down." I said caressing her cheek and she nodded her head with a smile. After praying Isha we went down and as always the table was set because everyone was at home.
