I was sitting in a playground,

watching the children play as they screamed with their high pitched voice, playing with their friends.

I envy them.

I wanted a childhood like this.

"mom?"

A little boy hugged her mother, tired after running around the playground, doing mischiefs.

"did my son enjoy with his friends?"

The child's mother asked him as she wiped his sweat with a hankerchief.

"yes mom!"

The boy giggled, his little teeth on display.

"I am glad you did! Let's go home now! Daddy is waiting for you at home."

The mother got up from the wooden bench, holding her child's hand.

That is when a ball hit my face, waking me up from my trance.

"can you pwease pass me the ball big sissie?" A young girl approached me, whining.

She was having light brown hair which covered her forehead, coming out of their places.

"sure."

I replied her expressionlessly, passing her the ball.

That was the day I realised how much I had started hating children.
