I heard hyuri scream from the bathroom,
causing me to hurry towards the door,
knocking it impatiently.
she sobbed uncontrollably from the other side,
not responding to my calls.
My heart was sinking down due to terror,
my hands hesitantly twisted the knob
to see hyuri standing with a white towel wrapped around her,
her hair wet, and her eyes swollen.
She took no moment to come outside and break down,
crying in my embrace as I tried to ensure her that everything was alright.
"t-that g-girl hvndjsdifkg."
she stuttered and mumbled incoherent words as she continued sobbing.
"Hyuri, you are alright. Look into my eyes."
I shook her by her shoulders,
waking her up from her trance.
her brown orbs were full of fear as she stared into mine,
as if she was calling out for me to help her,
to save her.
I could not understand what she really meant.
