I saw a man around my age walking to the convenience store,
chuckling happy with his two friends
when I was walking across the street with my guards tailing after.
people threw disgusting glances at me.
"tch- rich people these days don't leave any chance to show off."
an old lady mumbled as she walked passed me.
Unknowingly, a tear slipped from my eye.
"being rich is a curse."
I mumbled under my breathe as I entered the convenience store
after two years, I believe.
"the store is too small for you all to fit in,
leave me alone."
I requested the guards to stand outside the store.
"hey, pretty lady!"
I looked towards the guy in the store with a perplexed expression.
"the name's sunghoon."
the charming man smiled at me as he offered me a chit.
"stop with your flirting! I am really sorry, miss?"
"hyuri." I mumbled out my name.
It was the first time I introduced myself to someone.
I felt proud of myself.
"myself Jay."
The guy was wearing a black denim jacket, tight pants hugging his legs perfectly. He had deep blue hair which covered his forehead and the earring dangling from his left ear adorned his beautifully sculpted face, creating a strong aura around him.
The guy whom she assumed to be the rudest of the trio because of his sturdy appearance was the one who approached her kindly.
Hyuri surely learnt a good lesson.
"Never judge a book by its cover."
