I felt something was wrong so I tried to move, but I couldn't.
Ice was starting to encase me.
This ice...was different. Different from the one that had frozen space.
It felt dangerous.
This ice was slowing me down...stopping me from moving.
It had locked down my sword while it was still pierced through Makoto's gut.
Even as I am now, I knew this wasn't good.
After two big attacks, my power hasn't recovered yet, but I force it out of me.
Well, tried to.
I was so focused on the ice that I hadn't realized that Makoto was chanting.
Right when I was gathering it, I saw Makoto's eyes glow a 7 colored light, and I hear him utter the name of a spell.
("[Mana Dissolution]") (Makoto)
In that moment, the power I was gathering, scattered. It wasn't gone completely, but it had blown away any form I was trying to give it.
I hear him mutter.
"...Makes sense. I made it to counter Mana, not Divinity, but it is nice to know that even if I can't completely erase Divinity, I can scatter it. Enough that I can at least make an opening in your Aura. (Makoto)
He looks at me and continues to talk.
"I don't know if you can still understand what I'm saying...but I am going to make you activate a spell that I should've taught you when I first came back. I'm sorry, I wanted to teach you, but things had been busy. By the time I could, you had already defeated the Great Demon Lord." (Makoto)
"It was given to me, so I could pass on to you. It is a spell that is supposed to assist the Light Hero in times of need" (Makoto)
At this point, I couldn't move at all. But slowly but surely, I could feel myself gathering power.
Makoto places his hand on my head.
Suddenly, I have the feeling that something is invading me.
As if...another person was getting in touch of my very soul.
...
I feel mana flow out of me.
"I'll use synchronization so that you will be the one to activate the spell. [Guidance of the Light Hero]" (Makoto)
I feel a spell activate.
And suddenly...it is like time stopped.
I couldn't sense anything moving around me.
And then....a hole in the clouds appears.
Out of it, shone rays of golden light.
Faintly, I see feathers, white as snow, slowly float in front of me.
I follow the trail of feathers, and realize, that I was looking at an actual angel.
But instinctually...I knew that this wasn't any ordinary angel.
She had a pair of beautiful wings.
Golden hair that shone like the sun.
A sword hung on her waist.
And a gentle aura that would attract all.
Slowly, she floats closer and closer to me, in this world whose time seems like it had been stopped.
