You ran to pick up your phone which was ringing . You picked it up and pressed on the answer icon. "Hey" "(Y/n) I am going to my village for a festival do you want to join me?"
"When did you start showing interest in going back to your village?" "It's my parents obviously they will kill me if I don't go to the village" "Fine why do you want me to join?" "I mean you are my best friend and I'll be happy and I'll have a partner to have fun with" "Fine I'll come" "Then we'll be going tomorrow pack your things for a week the festival is for one week" "Sure" You chuckled at her excitement after you said you'll come.
"Wow actually the festival looks kinda fun" "Yea it is" You and your friend were roaming the village after meeting her parents. You were so deep in conversation with your friend you didn't notice a guy coming infront of you.
"CHITTI" Kumar shouted as he pointed his hand at him. Chitti thought he was just arguing with him over the same thing which they were talking about minutes ago and was shouting back things at him. Before Kumar could run upto Chitti to stop him from falling on you, Chitti stumbled on a rock and pushed a flower vendor making all the flowers flying up in the air and fell on you. But luckily he caught you by your waist and the flowers fell on you both (making it an intro of a typical love drama) . You opened your eyes to look at the guy who pushed you but also caught you from falling. He stared at you dreamily as he held you securely in his arms. He came back to reality as his brother tapped him on the shoulder. You got up and dusted off the flowers from your head. You felt the grip still so you looked down to your waist to see Chitti still looking at you with his hands around your waist . Kumar shook him up . You pushed his hands off your waist and walked away. Chitti's eyes followed you till you were out of his sight . Chitti turned to Kumar "She is so pretty brother" Kumar sighed and shook his head smiling at Chitti. "Hey Chitti where are you going?" Chitti ran after you so that he can try to talk to you. His eyes searched desperately for you. His eyes landed on a couple of goons who were making fun of you and your friend. Chitti's lovely stare turned into a anger filled one as he picked up a log that was lying down and walked towards the goons . One of the goon touched your cheek as he slowly moved towards your neck. You were pushing his hand off you but it was of no use since he had a pretty tight grip around your waist. A hit landed on him as he held his hand and moved away from you. The other guy let go of your friend as he saw Chitti beating up his friend. He ran away from there as his friend was getting beaten. Chitti pulled him up by his collar "Apologize to her" The guy looked scared "APOLOGIZE" "Sorry sorry now let me go" Chitti let go of him . Chitti turned around to you "Are you okay?" "I am good" You smiled at Chitti "Thanks for helping me" Chitti leaned towards you so that he could hear better "Can you say that again?" "Thanks for helping me" You said as he moved away scratching his head "What happened?" You placed your hand on his shoulder. "Chitti where were you?" Kumar came running upto him . Chitti turned to Kumar and pulled him to a side "Brother help me I can't hear what she is saying to me" "Okay come" Kumar chuckled "I am Kumar this is my brother Chitti" "Oh I am (Y/n) your brother saved me today" "Really? What happened?" "Two goons were behaving in a bad way with me and my friend Chitti was the one who helped us" You smiled at Chitti "(Y/n) Chitti has a problem in hearing so I apologize if he was confused while you were talking to him " "I am so sorry I didn't know" "It's okay talk slowly to him he'll understand you by the movement of your lips" Kumar smiled and patted his brother on the shoulder. "(Y/n) I have something to say to you" Kumar said . Kumar came closer to you "Chitti likes you" You looked over at Chitti who still had the dreamy look as he was admiring you . You turned to your friend "I'll be back" "Where are you going?" "I have to talk with Chitti I'll be back you carry on with the other things " Your friend nodded as you walked upto Chitti. You held his hand in yours . Kumar tapped on Chitti's shoulder and gave him the ear machine. Chitti wore it "Come with me" Chitti nodded at you adorably. You wrapped your arm around his as you both walked out of the festival and into a quiet path. "Your brother said you liked me is it true?" Chitti turned to you with wide eyes and blushed. "I-I-It's true" "I don't know what to say" "Do you like me?" "I don't know Chitti I just met you" Chitti's face dropped and he had a worried look on his face "Hey I didn't say I don't like you let's be friends and I'll know more about you and you'll know more about me and then we'll think about being in a relationship what do you say?" You placed your hands on either side of his face. "Okay" Chitti smiled which made you smile too. "I'll leave the village in one week but still I'll come back here whenever I wanna meet you" Chitti nodded "Friends?" You held your hand out to him . Chitti pushed your hand down gently and hugged you tight "Friends" You smiled into his chest as you hugged him back. That's the start of a beautiful friendship which eventually turned out into a beautiful relationship .
