Summary: Alex gets down on one knee and asks that very important question to Perrie

Perrie's POV: This week is our 6th year anniversary and Alex has been so distant lately, like there's something really important on his mind or something else but I can't really put my finger on it...

We're currently on our last day on holiday in Reykjavik, Iceland and my, is it gorgeous out here? Alex and I have been out exploring the island, he keeps notes on his phone for 'spots to go to' as we walk past them so I think that he's planning for the rest of this trip to be magical.

Alex's POV: I've finally got it all set out! With the help from the staff here at the resort that me and Perrie are staying at, we have planned out the entire proposal to my amazing girlfriend!

I'm just admiring the view from our rented chalet, the sun is shining and the sea gives me a sense of relaxation, just then, my phone begins to ring with my good friend Kyle who works as the manager of the resort.

"Hello?" I greet him over the phone, smiling widely.

"Alex, we have gotten this entire situation sorted out for you and your girlfriend later tonight, we have been able to fulfill your wishes!" He tells me in a cheerful voice, his Icelandic accent thick in his voice.

"That's great to hear, thank you for this, Kyle! It really means a lot, mate!"

"It's not a problem, Alex, think of it as my return gift for you being my friend."

"So, how are we going to do this again?"

"You two are gonna have a special dinner down at the resort restaurant at 6:30pm, then we shall take you down to the spot that you picked and then the rest is up to you..."

"Awesome, well, I cannot wait! I'll see you later!"

"See you too, bye!"

Just then, Perrie comes back in good timing. She notices me staring at her and gives me a look that just says 'You're annoying sometimes'

"Sweetheart, come here." I greet her, beckoning her over, she gratefully accepts my invitation and I pull her into my arms.
"This has been the best holiday that I've probably ever been on, baby..." She comments with the brightest grin on her face that I've ever seen.
"That's great to hear, it means that this was all worth it." I respond in the same tone, lightly kissing her forehead. "Anyways, I've planned to go to the resort restaurant this evening for a reservation at 6:30pm, is that okay with you?"

"Yeah, that's fine with me, but right now, there's been this one thing that I've wanted to do here, if you'd be interested..."

"What is that, darling?"

"They do those vehicles that you can hire, I was thinking that we can go and hire one and ride along the beach for an hour or two."

"Of course, let's head there now."

I slip on my sandals and we head down to the 4x4 hire, we pay for our car and hop inside our selected rental.
"Let's go!" I exclaim, starting the car up excitedly, we head off and look around the amazing sights of Iceland from the Eyjafjallajökull volcano that erupted in 2010 which is in the distance

(I know a lot about Iceland because I learnt about it for GCSE Geography)

The sights of this country are absolutely breathtaking, everywhere you look will make you stop and immediately admire the views, if I wasn't a footballer and Perrie wasn't in Little Mix, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a house here.

Purchasing a house here would probably make it a lot easier to live 'normal' lives and possibly raise our own little family.

"This is so beautiful out here, imagine living out here full-time." I comment, not intentionally trying to give anything away.
"Yeah, it's amazing, I would love to live out here." She responds, giving me the idea that we share the same mindset about our future to which I raise my eyebrows and smile at my girlfriend.
