I Miss You Dad

~13 years later~ Wednesday 20th April
Katsuki's pov

It's been 13 years since I last saw Iida, I know the truth now but still he was more than a father to me than Dabi. I don't know why the past keeps creeping up on me, every night I hardly get any sleep. It's funny I remember Iida always told me to look on the bright side of life and always slime, but what is there to smile at?

I'm happy for my mother, I guess she finally got the happy ending she wanted even if that meant leaving me behind, sometimes I hate her for leaving me behind in this house. "BRAT GET DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!" I really hate living here but where else can I go? Getting up in the morning gets harder day by day, I follow the same routine over and over.

"Sit down and eat your breakfast, you ungrateful brat" my stepmom said, I could hear the irritation and annoyince in her voice, "when will Dabi return?" I asked standing at the edge of the table, "you're dad will be home next week Monday, so for now it's only you and me." she sat down on the chair next to mine, "Don't sit there" I sat across her looking annoyed.

"Why shouldn't I sit here?"  "that's my mother's seat" I glared at her tightly holding the butter knife in my hand. "You listen to me boy, your mother's long gone and if I'm being honest they should just let her rot in there. I'm your new mom now but then again I don't want some freak to be my child." I stood up throwing the glass of juice on the floor, "my mother will wake up and FYI you're not half the woman she is! Now be a good housewife and clean up the glass"  "who do you think you're talking to boy! Just wait until I tell your father about your behavior"  "MY FATHER IS DEAD! Last time I checked you should be worried about me tell Dabi what his little toy does when he's not around" I stormed up to my room.

I got changed at headed out, I didn't bother tell that witch where I was going. It's not like she cares in the first place. I went to the train station and took a train to Mustafa. Leaving a little dizzy I first went to go eat something before going to the flower store and buying some snap dragons.

I got them and went to the graveyard, I was kinda surprised when I saw other people there usually it would only be the cleaner and the keeper there. As I walked through the gates I saw the cleaner he was older than me by 3year,hia name was Max. His dad works there and now he helps out during summer break, "hi Max"  "oh hey Katsuki, I see you're back again. Weren't you here like yesterday" I chuckled a little and gave him a nod, "well it's not like I have any friends besides you know why I'm here"  "yeah, yeah I know, well go ahead and enjoy yourself"  he went to the main building.

I was kinda puzzled to why there was a small group of people at my dad's gravestone, "uhm hi can I help you with something?" I asked them. A woman with Ash blonde hair, one man with red hair, one with onxy hair, another one with yellow hair with a black bult in it, all turned towards me. I also noticed a woman with pink hair and yellow horns along with a woman with purple hair and things hanging from her ears also some guy that had red and white hair turn to me.

"Who are you?" the lady with red eyes and Ash-blonde hair asked, why is she so intimidating, "I'm Todoroki" I said skratching my head nervously, the lady had the same red eyes as mine, she also had the same color hair..well kinda. I had my mom's dark hair in-between, she always said I look like my dad. "Your full name young man" the Canadian candy-cane looking man asked, "I'm sorry sir but my mother thought me not to talk to strangers that dress up in hero merch with church shoes on"  I don't know what I said was funny 'cause this made them giggle.

"That's absolutely true, your mother's right" the lady said. "I'm Mina Ashido, this is Ejirou Kirishima, Denki Kaminari, Kyoka Jirou, Shoto Todoroki, Hanta Sero and Mrs. Bakugo"  "Now tell me what's your name and why are you here" Mrs. Bakugo asked me, "I'm here because today is my father's birthday and my name's Katsuki Todoroki" I don't know if I said something wrong because they looked at me as if I was crazy.

"W-what do you have there" the Sero guy asked me, like can't he see its flowers? "Snap dragons, there're for my dad. Now please could you all move out of the way so I can put them down and maybe I could help you with something"  weird this happened to me before but not as weird as this. I thought they would move if I asked nicely but the didn't instead I got hugged by Mrs. Bakugo, "Hey get off my lady, if you want to kidnap me go ahead but don't expect any money from my parents" I said, she was crying and so were the others then they all hugged me.

I was about to yell for help when they took a step back releasing my father's stone. I kneeled in front of the gravestone, ignoring them well trying to. I took a deep breath in and just continued my routine of talking tk him about my morning, afternoon and sometimes I get to talk to him in the evening, "Hey dad I got you some more decorations, there are some people here acting all weird. Oh and I also brought you some spicy chocolate bread, although I don't think this will be enough for everyone" I looked up at the group, this was ready weird.

"Hey Bakubro, happy birthday man."  "My baby boy. I promised your dad I won't cry, Masu had some work to do abroad so I stayed." I tooked up at Mrs. Bakugo, did she just say baby boy? "I'm sorry what's going on here?"I stood up,"how do you all know my dad?" no one answered me, until Miss Jirou said that they're family, "that's not possible, mom said the only family I have is her and my dad...she said we only got each other...she lied to me" I looked down upset.

"Where's your mother and who is she?" Kaminari asked, "she's in the hospital...the one Da-Touya's mom is at, her name's Momo Yao-Todoroki I mean Momo Todoroki"  I hate her for lying to me, I hate her, I hate her!

The sky was getting darker as the heavy rain clouds cover the sky, "its going to rain any moment now and I didn't bring a raincoat with me" I said before placing a see through plastic cover over his gravestone, like Max always does when it's winter. "let's go back to my place, we have a lot to talk about"  "Mrs. Bakugo we have to get going but we'll be there tonight" Candy-cane said, she nod her head. "I also have to get back home before it rain"  I tried to leave but Mrs. Bakugo stopped me, "please do come with me, it's very important." she said.

I know my mom told me to never go home with strangers but it's either go home to a witch or go home with someone who looks like your dad so I chose B. They why to her house was quiet and not long. I got out waiting for her to ya know open the door. We went inside and she told me she was me grandma. "what's your full name?"  she asked this question before? Why was it so important to hear my full name?
