"You have to speed things up, this isn't the first time you got fired." Tasha said as she took a sip out of her coffee. Things weren't going well for me. Mom and dad had moved abroad about a year ago and they sold the house before moving so decided to stand up on my own. I mean I was 21 and had to focus on my career especially after all of my dramatic teenage breakups. Bad memories are better forgotten. "I know but the guy was too bossy and besides my presentation was good enough. It was organized, contained literally everything about the stock market and the company statistics were perfect. Nothing was wrong, sheesh." I replied in a rather sarcastic tone. "Okay girl, get your shit together, you aren't getting evicted and we are gonna find a new job for you." I was so not in the mood for another interview. "Some other time. I'll head back now." I said making the most tired face I could ever cause otherwise she wouldn't have agreed to let me go. "Fine. But that some other day is tomorrow. Don't forget." Finally, my god, my best friend can be so annoying sometimes.

I booked a cab, headed straight to my apartment and literally threw myself on the bed. Damn, now that was tiring. washed up and changed into an attire that my mom would've called what a homeless person wears which is basically baggy stuff, I do miss my mom but I don't have her bugging me around to do stuff that makes absolute zero sense. Now, for the most difficult part of the day for me, what was I supposed to do now? I could look for companies that are hiring like a normal productive person would've done but I'm not one of those people and that's not my fault. scrolled through Instagram instead. Three full hours of scrolling and finally actually wanna get up. I know Tasha would've been mad at me for not looking for more jobs but then again roaming around the city is much more fun.
headed out and booked a cab and went to the place loved the most. It was this small area near the cityside and it was perfect for stargazing and had a perfect view of the city. It was the perfect spot in the packed-up city of Mumbai, laid down in the grass and looked up at the sky. It looked beautiful. "Peace" whispered to myself when a handful of memories came crashing down at me. Kai. I quickly brushed that jerk off my mind. His memories would've ruined my mood only I just couldn't brush his memories off of my mind. That was it. got drunk at the bar. Again.

Next morning, I opened my eyes to find myself in Tasha's room. Apparently, I had called her up and had started sobbing about my love drama. Hell no. She was so gonna kill me. "Kai, Kai and Kai. What the fuck, Aisha? how many times have I told you not to go stargazing alone, you always end doing this. Couldn't you have gone looking for jobs instead? I'm sick of this." She was really mad and knew and apology wouldn't cut it. "I know and I'm so sorry, okay? just... well wanted some fresh air and I promise I'll find out about companies hiring soon. Actually, let's go today!" Of course, I made a total fool outta myself. There was no way a company could hire someone like me on spot with such less experience.
"Fine, you know what, you're bad at accounts, still don't know why you chose commerce but whatever." I didn't get it, what was she trying to say? "What do you mean? What am I supposed to do then? Work at a coffee shop?" I asked and she gave me the most amazing answer swear to God. "No, prips told me about this little fashion business her friend is starting and she needed volunteers aka designers." Yes! Designing was always my thing dad never really got that though, he thought I loved accounting even though was just good at it-?"Alright then, let's go."

Though really wish I hadn't. Once I reached there, there was no doubt the 'little friend' Priyanka aka prips was talking about was Korean. She knew Tasha and we were warmly welcomed. "I hope you didn't have any difficulties reaching here. I know the location is quite isolated but me and my fiancé planned to have a small startup." She gave us a warm smile and like damn she was pretty and so kind. "No actually, we enjoyed the trip."
"자원봉사자들이 여기 있습니까?(Are the volunteers here?)" said a male's voice or asked I, I

don't exactly know. That voice was familiar. The male came out. It was him.
